66 pts - a new record for me
not taking mine! i KNOW i am right! ARRGGGHHH!
Indeed.
what else could it be?
Well I know I'm right. It just won't take the answer
[2], [4] Make sure to read the clue 'completely'.
I know it but it won't work...
Be sure you answer the question...not type in what you are seeing!
First top 100 finish. I feel...w00tiful.
sweet
You solved this puzzle in 5 minutes and 24 seconds and were the 91st Tanga member to solve it. You earned 20 points for solving this.
Thanks [8]. I thought it wanted it all.
The instructions are an important step
this is stupid....
[8] but isnt that what a "cryptopix" is supposed to be? interpret the pictures into a phrase.
jack o gym raids ellipses complete the phrase?
Sorry, no clue.
Should have started w/ the hypercross.
[14] I agree. the answer should have been the first half, or the whole thing, not just the second half. This qualifies more as a "3 word wonder" puzzle.
I agree this is not a proper cryptopix...rt6
Not getting the first part.
[18] I'm not getting any of it...
Its safe to think about what the gymnast is doing.
I know the sentence. The whole phrase.
But it won't let me enter. :-(
As is often the case, saying what you see out loud, rather than in your mind helps a lot.
I *know* I have it right. The first half of the famous phrase sounds exactly like the words in the image. But it won't accept it.
I hope this isn't a stupid punctuation issue.
Read the instructions. It's not asking you to answer what the pictures say. It's asking to "complete" the phrase. It's a common phrase.
the term created by the pics is common enough, the phrase ... not so much.
[24] Thanks. But dangit, to me "complete" means "add the rest", not "what is the rest"!
that was dumb. better cryptopix please.
Use google! That's the only way I would have gotten it. Yes, I have heard the phrase before but it wouldn't come to me.
Do not use a conjunction word. i.e. and or BUT nor any of those. That is what got me.... number 16 was a help. I agree it should be called "a three word wonder."
Took me a minute, but finally understood :)
uggh!
That puzzle had potential, but not the way it was phrased.
I really am getting frikkin tired of knowing the answer but because I'm not typing the punctuation or capitalization or the spelling is correct and the puzzlemaker doesn't know how to spell I am not getting it "right".
Tanga has gone to Hell in a Handbasket!
Know it, but can't get it to take. I give up.
LATER - Aha, not the entire phrase. That was what was stumping me.
I liked the puzzle. I thought it was a neat twist on the usual Cryptopix, and I had no trouble following the instructions.
I had no real problem either... ok, I typed way too many words the first time, but after shortening it appropriately, got the answer. No spelling or punctuation issues.
Need salt on the gymnast....
NM...it finally clicked
53 seconds. I liked it.
53 seconds. I liked it.
Why not just cryptopix the whole thing? Boo.
[32] Yeah, and after solving a whopping 5 puzzles you certainly are qualified to say that....
Took me a while. All the salt you need in [29]
I agree with those who've said that the answer should've been the entire phrase, not just the last half. My bad.
As always, to those who found the puzzle deplorable, why not give it a go yourself?
Jacko Gymnast Raids.....
never heard any phrase starting like that........
[43] What is the gymnast doing?
The gymnast is not on the beam
I gave up on this one. When I check the solution, I realized that I got the first half right, and I got the second half right, but when I put the two together, I still didn't get an answer!
I even took [16] and [29] into account, and I still couldn't get the answer, no matter how I tried to join the two.
[42], please email me!
i never knew there WAS a second part, never heard of the answer part......only the first part......Thank God for Google!!!
