Maybe it's just me, but I would normally interpret those as "thought bubbles" because of the circles. However, they are intended as speech bubbles in this case.
I can't believe it took me a DAY to get this one. I had a clue a lot like it in MY OWN hypercross a little ways back... sheesh. That was a humbling experience.

If you say it out loud it helps a lot. I would of used my piano to help but it sounds terrible.

Trying to sound it out, but not working. The hint in 1 (about going generic) seems to be at odds with the hints in 2 and 4, or am I really confused?

Never seen the commercial before. I was trying several different versions of "baa," trying things like "barber" and "bye-bye." Ouch.
