It was a little stretchy in the beginning. Cute, though. And totally doable.

[1] Thanks, didn't see the telltale structure in the background of the first pic and had no idea who the girl was, but that gave it to me.

I recognized the girl, and that gave me the beginning. I think a subtraction at the end of line 1 should have been there, however- it is a bit too much of a stretch IMO.

...and subtract the second half of the second syllable from the second pic.

[5] No, I don't think so. I believe she recently released (or soon will release) a new album. I think she's either hosting or judging on an American-Idol type show on CMT.

Why do people think this puzzle (and others like it) are too much of a stretch? It's supposed to be a puzzle! Good one, riseoverrun.

I actually don't recognize the guy next to the person that wonders who will save my soul. I'm sure he's incredibly significant and I would know the references - just can't pick the guy out of a lineup...

Here on tanga, you're likely to see a pic of the old guy or a pic from Dukes of Hazzard to communicate that particular sound.

There's an extra R in the puzzle on the donkey's tail just dying to get out... what happened to it?
