[5] I agree. If you're going to put the ampersand in the puzzle, it should match what's needed in the answer, IMO.

[5] hmmm, the one ampersand that I see in the puzzle maps nicely to what is in the answer. Was there perhaps another one that got removed?

[14] I think they were expecting to type "X & Y" instead of "X and Y."
