One Word Wonder

First on a Murdoctor, WOO HOO!!!

wait, that's scary.

This one really was a puzzle.

Sorry Murdoctor, I usually like your puzzles but there are a host of problems with this one. The most significant is those of us with MS Paint don't have the ability to put the pieces together correctly. I managed to guess the right answer, but I could not have gotten much further with the limited graphical tools I had available.

[4] that's why I have pad and paper and a laptop to twirl around. and oh! some scissors. =)

[4] Same, here, unable to even get more than 3 together with the limited 90 degree rotation aspects here. Oh well, looks punk.

[4] Well, there's always the option of using a printer and a pair of scissors. :)

Can people without a printer do this puzzle?

I don't have a printer hooked up here, so I'm out of luck too.

The relationship to the other puzzles is important as well.

It can be done without a printer...

but now my head hurts.

meh... did it in my head. Only 4 letters seemed possible, only 1 word from those I could easily come up with.

Thanks for the salt, Scoutmom. Now I can get ot bed at a decent hour tonight and (hopefully) have a voice for teaching tomorrow. My first triple score night in a while.

There are plenty of free image editors out there for non-Photoshop types. www.getpaint.net is a good one; Google also has something.

I'm living proof it can be done without fancy software - just practice your visual gymnastics.

I really need to get one of these...
