Stuck a space where it didn't belong - still got 12th.
Edit: author says no space according to Merriam-Webster!

The thing is, [13], if I'd put the space in, some people would have tried it without. All I can do is go with an authoritative source (and hope that they'll update the code here to strip out spaces).

I liked the puzzle and thought it wasn't too hard. The author is exactly right on the space thing, either way someone isn't going to like it, and since they had an authoritative source, well, that's how it goes.
I tried it with the space first, and never would have gotten it if it weren't for the comments here, as I've never heard of it without the space.
