WAY too many numbers in this one... can't get the relevant ones.

Zero solves... Yikes!

I'm guessing the rankings give the order of the letters, but I can't figure out which letters are indicated by each row.

Of all the nights for monocle to have a prior engagement! Who will save...errr....salt us?

Sweet. 1/2 hour in and zero solves. Great puzzle.

Well, it's not "WTF" and excluding what I assume to be the final ordering instruction, I too am drawing gibberish.

Maybe a mod can step in?

[18] That got it for me! Tough, but a great puzzle- the clues are all there if you look hard enough (no salt here for those who haven't solved yet)

As salt: my first observation (see above) was correct.

Monocle must have been a workaholic to create this puzzle. Personally, I'm more of a chocoholic.

elgrande, way to go spell it out for everyone. Sometimes a single word will do just fine.

I think this would have better without the dates. The puzzle is already tricky enough without another potential source of Tanga numbers.

sorry for the bad timing.... but I can't help if a friend of mine was born this day 40 yrs ago. :)

Anyway, I tried hard to not include any elements in the puzzle that I thought would detract your focus. Sorry if I over did it.
