[1][5] I agree. Sorry, Murdoctor, bad call on changing the answer.
[6] Official answer isn't exactly true to the pronunciation required to answer it either, so don't see how the official answer "improves" things. In fact, a few other words could be just as valid as noted by [2] above.
[7] Well, I didn't change it... I only suggested the change, since the original answer was a stretch, in my opinion. The author agreed with my assessment, but I certainly don't expect everyone to.

So thought "Parallels" should have been the answer. Cute puzzle though!

[1] Funny... that was the original answer to the puzzle, but I thought that was too much of a stretch, and suggested this answer instead.

Actually I like parallels as an answer better than this one.

Now, resubmit this with a big red circle and a slash through it over the image- Then you would have "nonpareils" :-)

I think parallels is a better answer as well

Wait, the answer isn't "peril(s)" either? Sigh.

Actually I think I favor "pareils" now :).

Hints:
1. How many are there.
2. Just say the sound of the letters, not the name.

parallels does seem to be an answer that makes alot more sense.
