YAY... 6th! Took me a little bit to figure it out, but fun!
Hmmm, not "Donna Reed"...
Or "soapstone"...
WHERE did you get the "names" for those tiles? PLEASE try to add it to Wikipedia, LOL!
They are the standard sames for the suits-although the one needed here is often called "character" My mother plays mah-jongg a lot, and so I just know them. I am surprised that they weren't easily available elsewhere, though.
If I had realized the problem in finding the info, I would have made the tile broken as well :-)
Yup, we called them those names too. Just go into any retirement home where we biddies are hanging around playing mah jong. (we like visitors so stay a while) - I blew it because I had the wrong detergent.
[5] cute salt
The name of the suit is "wan" so it looked like "Don Juan"
I agree with [7], that is the only suit name that I could find other than the one you mentioned. Although after giving up and seeing the names you listed in the answer, it appears what you call the Standard names are actually nicknames derived from the official names that I could find on the internet.
"Sorry, 'Don Juan' is not correct."
Is the only answer that IS correct for this puzzle. sorry.
============
the three tiles can be named:
Traffic Light | Lasagne | 3 Bamboos
Although that's not salty.
For those of you still having problems (wikipedia still doesn't have the nickname for the tiles), use this link:

not lupis either...
Wow - must get out of cave. Not familiar with that game - thanks for the help above!
