This kind of thinking hurts my brain

    Wow....I'm slow. 50th.

Not too simple, but several of the words are similar.

I really like this kind of puzzle. As my two-year-old would say, "Do it again!"

No one has asked for salt, but it is 1:42am and I was just solver #89 so I'm assuming that some people could use some. Google "drop quote" and it will tell you how to solve it.

These don't usually have extra letters. And the phrase I got makes zero sense.

  14. 1981709Sailboatjgf on Wed Dec 03, 2008 01:55 AM

Oof, that took some work. I suggest starting with the short words.

  15. Avatar_profileCherriesladykristien82 on Wed Dec 03, 2008 03:10 AM

Don't know what's wrong with me. Got the phrase, phrase makes sense... but obviously doesn't.

  16. Avatar_profileBananaLongbow327 on Wed Dec 03, 2008 05:27 AM

[13] The phrase points to the extra letters.

  17. Phi3CornPhilana on Wed Dec 03, 2008 05:53 AM

Unlike in some drop quotes, in this puzzle the line ends are also word ends. No words span two lines.

  18. FilePumpkinjeffg on Wed Dec 03, 2008 07:26 AM

[17] Thanks. "Some" is an understatement; "nearly all" is closer. That info changed it from utterly baffling to entirely straightforward.

  19. Avatar_profilePeardevonelle on Wed Dec 03, 2008 07:49 AM

Had a lot of fun figuring this one out!

  20. FileOnionJohn on Wed Dec 03, 2008 09:27 AM

Notice how the spacing is identical on lines 1 and 3? That's an unfortunate and major flaw.

  21. Avatar_profileCherriesladykristien82 on Wed Dec 03, 2008 09:58 AM

Nevermind, got it. Simple mistake on my part.

  22. Avatar_profileStrawberrypar383 on Wed Dec 03, 2008 11:21 AM

[15] Same thing happened to me.

  23. FileAceYawetag on Wed Dec 03, 2008 11:44 AM
