I cringe at the word "binary."
[8] Wikipedia has all of the info you need on binary. There's even a handy binary-decimal conversion table.
I must be doing something wrong. I'm coming out with alphabet soup.
Make sure to keep each clue and don't mix them.

well, finally got it - binary step is a doozy...
Keeping things as separate entities and a little googling for converters did the trick for me. Just follow the directions and you'll be safe. Excellent puzzle as usual Murdoctor!

Well it is straight forward but I was stuck on the digits part.

I'm getting hung up on the binary part. Nothing I'm doing with binary seems to be getting me anywhere.
Edit: And that would be P&S. IMHO, there should be a "decimal" after binary, although that might screw people up in the opposite direction.

Yes, well, it took me a while to figure out that the spaces between each letter are there for a reason, and should NOT be removed at ANY step along the way.
[30] Actually, the spaces go away after the last step.
I don't cringe at the word binary, just at [26] and [27]'s misspelling of "would have" (or "would've). :)
