If you get stuck you can ask for help in the comments section. Hints are posted 24 hours after puzzle's publish date (if provided by author).

Huh?
Ditto.
I'm drawing a blank.
I had an idea, but it's not "snow" or "white" or anything I can think of related
to Snow White.
LOL, well there's no help in the file name.
Does anyone see an image?
Thanks, Gang! I knew I could count on your posting some salt.
no image!
I got nothing!! LOL!
Oh, good one!
Well, that was certainly a switch from reality!
[10] please explain...
[3] Arnott, you're not just a mindreader, but a prognosticator!
Beautiful!
I nominate this one for Puzzle of the Year.
__________
[13] Yeah, how crazy giddy was I when I saw the first two comments from last night's puzzle:
http://www.tanga.com/puzzles/4610-3-31-2009
[14] Wow, thanks.
April Fools???
[16] Sort of :) But I wouldn't not play fair with you guys.
it's a cow eating grass in a meadow!
STUPID
water like the flood I am experiencing
Darnit, I really thought '' was the answer.
Hey - my image isn't loading!
No wait - it's not taking 'butter' (must be a punctuation problem).
[14] I wouldn't go that far!
I cant see the forest for the trees help!!
I wonder why this puzzle was published three minutes late . . . it can't have been that hard to make!
[24] LOL
well....it's not a snowman in a snowstorm
[24] Yes, that gave me 7 reasons to wonder.
I thought "clueless" was a really clever solution, but apparently it just describes me
[28] LOL....that WOULD have been a good answer, but it's not the right one for tonight. The clues are there....just more obscure.
[28] not just you..
Did everyone pay attention to what people were saying about this puzzle???
[24] The image, no. The puzzle itself was trickier than you'd think.
[32] Tricky, indeed. The solution might only be obvious right away to 6 people.
[22] Yeah, I'm pretty sure [14] is going to be a minority opinion :)
I'm lost. I have a feeling this is too abstract a concept for my logical mind.
[34] I loved it!
[33] pointed me in the right direction.
[35]
I would have to agree with you Doc. I think I feel the same way.
Only 18 solves after 45 minutes, guess were not the only ones! LOL
Salt: See my comment [5] at 7:02? Well, I was on the couch watching a movie at that time and I just logged in at about 7:30.
[18] Hey, I remember that as an old Ernie and Bert bit on Sesame Street!
Okay, here's the 45-minutes-have-past, I-have-to-leave-for-the-night salt:
I could have said in [7] "Thanks, Gang! I knew I could count on you," but that wouldn't have been exactly right.
Though that would have been a cool puzzle, too.
[39] AH!! Thanks, that did it. [24] should have been a tip-off, but I wasn't paying attention to the details.
You are one sneaky devil, Arnott... I have no idea how you even pulled that off.
[38] Turns out it wasn't that abstract at all... just needed to look in the right place for the clues.
[39] Hee hee. That was the tricky part, [24].
And three minutes late..? I don't know what you're talking about. It says 7:00 at the top.
::innocent glance::
[39] did it for me. Nice puzzle once you get past the confusion. I think "clueless" would've been a great answer too.
[43] Innocent, my eye! ;-)
I'm just glad I could be the first to start this off.
Awesome!
However, I think that three minute gap is extremely important, and should be noted in the published time.
I see what s going on I just cant put it together
Edit..... arggggggg I put it together (sigh) I know better it is always first things first
Tough but fair! Those 6 really know what they're talking about!
AHHH, took me awhile, but it was a great post!
I'm still completely lost. The time stamps all look normal to me. Any other salt?
Oooooh... Aaaaah... Ohhhhh!
[51] The time stamps are normal but something doesn't quite add up.
It's a freakin SailBoat.!
Whatever the answer is, after almost 90 minutes of analyzing, including the first 6 people's posts on this puzzle (which are 3 minutes off), I give up!
I am going away in disgust....count me as one of your april fools.
Wow Arnott ... you can't make this stuff up (or maybe you can).
Nice one!
And here I thought I forgot to sign out of Tanga at work! Sneaky, bad, wicked, naughty, R Knot...
Do it again.
wow. Terrible puzzle.
Time keeps on slippin slippin slippin
[51][52] Don't get hung up on the time stamps - that was just something I wanted to make look right. But they really don't matter - it's the comments themselves that are the key.
Content over style.
As for the puzzle, I certainly could have added an extra clue somewhere, to point people more obviously in the right direction, I suppose. I was reluctant to do that this time out of... uh... foolish pride, maybe :) And also because it's April Fools Day. And also because I thought it was fair, regardless of how "hard" it might be.
Anyway, thanks, all.
CBG says: Worst. Puzzle. Ever.
You solved this puzzle in 25 minutes and 43 seconds and were the 101st Tanga member to solve it. You earned 10 points for solving this
Ack so close to top 100
I think it would be pretty funny if we started flagging posts [1]-[6]...
Still dont get it with the posts or time stamps
Anyone?
[64] on the Tanga HOME page, go to Tanganite Activity (View all) and go back as many pages as you need... Something's not right. That's it for now.
You solved this puzzle in 13 hours, 32 minutes and 43 seconds and were the 117th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 10 points for solving this.

was Great, but
tougH.
TOUGH!
[65] I already get the fact that the puzzles solves were at 7:07 and it was posted late. SO??????
[67] Look at the first 6 comments. Then take a look at [66]. [65]'s advice is terrible.
cute!
[67] [68] The point is: the first 6 comments were never actually made by the posters listed, as implied by [39].
Wow. Nonstandard indeed.
And big thanks to [70] and [66].
Yeah, the puzzle/answer isn't in (or has anything to do with) the big, blank, white box.
Very "Nonstandard", I agree.
I'm not so sure that's fair, as we (or "I")can't do that.
Thank you [70]!
I'm a tad bit dense today.
Identity theft
not so much fun for someone who doesn't play till the next day and avoids comments until after solving.
ahh well, points for originality.
[75] LOL!
I know! I read comments after I'm stumped, and this one left me puzzling forever (and typing the words "nothing" & "blank" over & over & over again) until I started looking at what other people may have said to get some clues/salt! There are probably some stubborn "purists" out there who are never going to get this one!
It usually doesn't take me 4 hrs and 38 mins to solve a puzzle!
Definitely thinking outside the usual box here.
I am lost, I don't get the clues :(.
You could have had a picture that said:
ICE COLD
COLD
WARMER
WARMER STILL
GETTING HOT
HOTTER, KEEP GOING :)
I feel like I should be getting this lol, but I just can't seem to figure it out.
[79] Nice!
Please don't ever do that again.
Never, ever, ever would have solved this one!
April Fool, my a$$!!
Is it a polar bear in a snow storm?
holy crap, how did you do that?!?!
I'm a little surprised no one brought up this point: wasn't this a potentially a little "unfair" (maybe there's a better word?) in the sense that a certain six tanganites had (potentially) a slight advantage?
[86] I'd actually asked them in advance if I could use them in a puzzle, though I didn't tell them how I was gonna use them. So whatever "advantage" they might have had was the "price" for me to "pay" them, IMO, for the privileged of being able to write this thing in the first place.
And I suspect most people saw that. Actually, LOL, I suspect almost no one cared, especially back in 2009 when we were all cooler :) Yeah, the good old days, that's it... everything's crappy now :)
