    ?

I'm from Indiana and live in California. I don't even know how to read one of these things when it's NOT a puzzle.

[4] I'm with you. Suburban boy all the way. I don't go anywhere I can't take my car.

[5] I'm hoping and presuming that that doesn't matter, does it?

No idea what I should be looking at here...

(edit) Post n solve - too many red herrings for sure, but finally guessed the right bits to use.

[4][6] If you're going from the start place listed to the end place listed.....you have to pass through several towns.....

    Ohhhhhh.

Once I stumbled on the right path, thanks in part to [7], I still had troubles. My unfamiliarity with reading these caused me to use some wrong elements.

Admittedly it was a stupid error on my part, but being a country bumpkin added to the problem.

I think this is the first time that I took one look at a puzzle and just said, huh???

Edit: NM ... went back a second time and found exactly what I needed to solve.

next is boats? good puzzle. I like needing to sift through extra information to find what is useful sometimes.

[14] Same here - I just remember that the Underground map looked like this from a trip and guessed. I don't think I would have actually figured it out, otherwise =]

Somehow I completely ignored Fulham Broadway because it's labeled on the right side... Was even doing the right thing, but getting gibberish.

    Got it on a guess.
