It's alliterative! And singular.... quite singular...

  2. Soccer_ballCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Wed Aug 12, 2009 07:04 PM

Got tripped up by the spelling.

  3. Phi3CornPhilana on Wed Aug 12, 2009 07:05 PM

The first clue is especially nice.

    [2] and the obscurity

  7. Avatar_profileAcepitbull44 on Wed Aug 12, 2009 07:09 PM

Lots of fun, but not the most popular way of spelling it.

  8. FileCheeseburgerHrothgar24 on Wed Aug 12, 2009 07:09 PM

Does it count as cheating that I was watching the team play as I solved this?

  9. Avatar_profileBananasarringhaus on Wed Aug 12, 2009 07:11 PM

I am green with envy at all the people who phigured the spelling out sooner.

  10. FileGarlick1w1 on Wed Aug 12, 2009 07:12 PM

I can't make a word out of the equine part.

[10] note pink bow indicating its a female. The spelling threw me off completely... instead of one letter at the beginning, there are two, and same for the ending.

  12. SierraDuckiePix924 on Wed Aug 12, 2009 07:21 PM

    [10] it's a little girl horsie

yeaah [2] :p I knew it long before I knew how to spell it!

After you find the answer be sure to check youtube with the answer +flash. it was pretty funny when I saw it on TV the other day.

nope- just searching flash won't help you find out the answer

    [10] That ain't a bow tie.

  15. Untitled-1PumpkinAdamMcD on Wed Aug 12, 2009 08:48 PM

I am certain I have the first word right.

Is there a special (Asian) name for the second word? Because I am having no luck with the common 3-letter word that I am using...

  16. FileGarlick1w1 on Wed Aug 12, 2009 08:57 PM

OK, thanks to those who pointed me in the right direction. Not one I would have got in a million years. Never heard of it.

  17. ShawnsmallGrapesphilofmars on Wed Aug 12, 2009 09:31 PM

You'll never get it without googling what you come up with.
    The spelling is crazy!

  18. FileDuckiedavey3 on Thu Aug 13, 2009 05:12 AM

Even with googling, this spelling was hard to find. Especially the ending of the first word.

    here's some salt....
look at the mascot for a RECENT U.S. baseball world series winner

  20. AsdfCherriesbrøwnie1∏imposter on Thu Aug 13, 2009 06:45 AM

    [19] is probably *too* salty.

Apparently the answer was the same one I was typing from the very beginning. I would say that google is more of a hurt than a help because the "incorrect" spelling gets one 1.96 million hits on google while the "correct" spelling only yields 75,000 hits. All sites that I was on earlier had the "incorrect" spelling ... no wonder I was going insane.

The last picture is not a "check" mark. I was stumped until I figured what it was supposed to be.

  22. Avatar_profileOrangeAbsolutLactam on Thu Aug 13, 2009 08:13 AM

I'm with "[17]" and "[18]". Good one, though.

  23. RocketraccoonRadishcwsterling on Thu Aug 13, 2009 12:33 PM

    never heard of it

  24. Picture-303Pumpkingodard on Thu Aug 13, 2009 05:51 PM

I'm from Philadelphia and I cry "foal!"

  25. Gir_bu_1Potatofnork on Thu Aug 13, 2009 06:09 PM

I've always called that last pic a check mark...

  26. AvadoneDuckiebargellos on Mon Apr 04, 2011 05:01 AM

[24] I too am from that town -- and my nickname for it is different from the word needed here. That added a few seconds to the solve time.

    [25] I agree.
