What part of the third picture is part of the puzzle? The dude, the food, or the implement?

When I Googled the answer phrase in quotes, I got only one hit!

I think that I have it, but my answer isn't taking. Seems straight forward, but I don't know what I've got wrong.

Is the water important in the last clue?

think of the set-up, then advice. Like there should be a comma or something.

all my guesses are failing. I think it is a red pin that is the problem

yeah, my guesses are not working either. I think I have the same problem as [9].

[9] That red pushpin is indeed misleading. Pretend it's a very short metal "nail" with a broad, flat head. Oh, and don't forget to pretend that there's an "A" on it.

I finally got it 19+ minutes later. ha ha.

[9] you are on the right path, think synonyms for the image...

[4] if you were like me, you left out a word at first. The third pic clues two short words.

[3] Yes, if the first five words had been dropped, and the two words which follow were added, it would have been a much better puzzle.
