Why do I only get 3 points for being the 20th to solve??
[2] This is an unfeatured puzzle....not the regular nightly one.
[2] Look at the star above the puzzle in the upper right corner of the puzzle instructions -- it contains the number of points for the puzzle. In this case, the star contains a "3". All unfeatured puzzles are worth 3 points, with no bonuses.
[1] The clue is for both the thing circled(it's made from a rope) and preceded by what it is on. Also the last clue is somewhat of a phonetic stretch.
any other salt? Is that ear picture a noun or a verb. I am not getting anything that sounds like a final word (or two?) when I run all the clues together
EDIT: n/m - got it after I took the color of the letter into account. That last clue is a huge stretch.
Thanks [6], I had it all except for the full (color) of the first one. And yes, the last clue is a stretch but a natural one after you have the first part.
i think if the sound was going "toward" the ear that would have been a little better. the second clue could just have easily, and less confusingly, been separated. also, hopefully you get it before you get to the last clue.
Finally got the answer with all the salt given. Never thought the paddle could be two words.
The last picture is not an iPhone "app"....it could be a small picture on a Mac or Windows desktop as well.....bad choice of pictures.
The word "app" mislead me, making me wonder why the iPhone was even shown at all.
[8] I agree the sound waves are backward....as shown it looks like the ear is actually making a noise.
