don't spell second word correctly

Well this is the only puzzle here

I would've put a different "Stephen" in the second picture.

I don't get it

is there a word to remove ampersand from? Or does the ampersand stand for something that I'm not getting?

[8] I have a few ideas and usually knowing what to subtract will narrow down my options. But none of the ideas I have for what that could be have the word ampersand in it. I'm lost on this one.

Okay, I totally guessed once I figured out enough words. I would have never guessed picture #2 - no idea who that is.

That isn't an ampersand, that's an at symbol. Ampersand is "&". Not that this knowledge is helping me. I have no idea what this is.

Treat the first three pictures phonetically (though you'll have to remove an entire syllable and also a final sound). Treat the last picture and the symbols that follow it literally, not phonetically.

I dont know how you put other peopples number in here, but yeah different pic..i was tring to figure out how utah tard fit in ..steftard..that man looks retarded..i thought for sure tard was in it. I had to cheat dammit...and taht second pic...cmon how you guess? of course i looked at the 3rd pic the wrong way too.
