How to Play

One Word Wonders are word puzzles where the answer is exactly one word. Decipher the image below to come up with the answer. For a better idea on how to solve this puzzle view an example. If you get stuck you can ask for help in the comments section. Hints are posted 24 hours after puzzle's publish date (if provided by author).

    i have no idea why i can't get it... i think i know what the pictures are... i keep saying them out loud but nothing clicks. :(

    [2] and especially [3] give it away. I was way off on all but one thing I was using, read the comments, and then knew the answer without even checking it against the pictures.

    [8] first picture is an abbreviation... or the slang term.

    the color of the object in the last picture is a clue to what type of "rock" it is

    [2] & [3]- Just what I needed to get it right...had no idea the 4th picture was what it was used as, i'm used to a slightly different variety.

    [7] If you thought [2] and [3] were too salty get load of the two ton dumping in [13] and [14].
    Even at this late time, shouldn't those be removed so someone can actually try to solve the puzzle?
