Stupid spelling (on my part)....

[6] All punctuation is ignored in an answer, so only the words are important.

what gives? It won't take. Never mind now "I see"

They deleted my post as too saltly, but nobody TG'ed me to help out.

[10] There are 2 variations on the spelling of the repeated word. Try the other one.

[10] You need the correct spelling. (If you don't know what to do, try typing your answer into Google and looking at some of the results.)

[12] Google has TONS of hits of this phrase using BOTH spellings.

This doesn't help a puzzle solver on this puzzle when the pictures clued are spelled using the letters of the alternate/wrong way.

If you know where it's from you can look up the correct spelling.

As [9] points out, I see it spelled both ways in google. :)

[13] Cryptopixes (cryptopi?) are almost always phonetic, which means solvers who don't know the correct spelling may have to experiment with various ways to spell the sounds that are depicted.

After Googling the pertinent information, I had to say it out loud a couple times and let a football hit me in the nose before I got it. Now that dreamy Doug Simpson will never ask me out again...
