18 seconds first try... this was too easy... didn't need the 'political figure' title on top, imo

Never mind that she is actually reputed to be the sister (to the artist, Grant Wood) and likely also the sister or daughter to the farmer. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_gothic

Not that that's going to throw off 99% of the viewers of the painting. (or this puzzle)
