You solved this puzzle in 4 minutes and 44 seconds and were the 4th Tanga member to solve it. Whoa!

The answer is not 4, though.

What do I do after I extract the clue?
edit: and please don't say "exactly what it says to do"...
2nd edit: got it before [8] screwed the cap off the saltshaker...:)

  7. FileEggGamesX4 on Wed Feb 03, 2010 07:25 PM

[6] let me know when you find out please :)

  8. Soccer_ballCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Wed Feb 03, 2010 07:27 PM

[6] [7] As the clue says, only use the ones that go like that.

  9. Avatar_profileAppleastew90 on Wed Feb 03, 2010 07:28 PM

[8] i think you spilled a little too much salt

  10. FileEggentropy on Wed Feb 03, 2010 07:32 PM

  11. Soccer_ballCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Wed Feb 03, 2010 07:32 PM

[9] If you haven't found the clue, the salt means nothing

  12. 07310099PepperLakeLivin on Wed Feb 03, 2010 07:35 PM

    Thanks, enjoyed it.

  13. Elliott_cofa-sCarrotknightelliott on Wed Feb 03, 2010 07:37 PM

Give the too much salt a rest.

  14. FileDuckieRussellWilliams on Wed Feb 03, 2010 07:47 PM

    Awful.

    Circles make a big difference.

You solved this puzzle in 1 hour, 3 minutes and 45 seconds and were the 85th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 26 points for solving this.

I don't know how some of you finish these so fast!

  18. SouthparkPepperTahnan on Wed Feb 03, 2010 08:22 PM

Nice puzzle (though when I got the result of the second step, I thought I was being told I'd done something wrong).

  19. 3147816.6305739AppleNo1Sciguy on Wed Feb 03, 2010 08:24 PM

got the first part, but still not getting step two...

  20. Avatar_959_jpg100_200x200RaspberryRocketeer on Wed Feb 03, 2010 08:57 PM

Luckily I took an educated detour to the 2nd step - nice one!

  21. 8grg3zbpu691mpv38q2nPancakesjebediehard on Wed Feb 03, 2010 09:23 PM

    [20] Same here!

  22. Avatar_profilePlumxtalviper on Wed Feb 03, 2010 09:37 PM

All your comments, yet I just don't get what I'm supposed to do for the second part...

  23. CaricatureBananadavefitz on Wed Feb 03, 2010 09:49 PM

WOW! That had to be the hardest puzzle to build. Scores high on creativity also. Well done!

  24. Avatar_profileBanananwjake77 on Wed Feb 03, 2010 10:08 PM

    [22] Me too.
[11] I have, and it still doesn't. Maybe it will come.
EDIT: It came. Easier than I tried to make it, but pretty hard to do on the laptop.

  25. Avatar_profilePlumxtalviper on Wed Feb 03, 2010 10:11 PM

I must be overthinking it, I give up...very frustrating...

  26. Soccer_ballCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Thu Feb 04, 2010 04:50 AM

[24] Yes, this is one of those puzzles that is MUCH easier to do if you print it out...or copy/paste into Paint. That way, once you do step 1, it's fairly easy to see what you need for step 2.

  27. Soccer_ballCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Thu Feb 04, 2010 04:51 AM

If you're still stuck and need a nudge, feel free to TG me.

  28. Sexy_lips2AceCiabelle on Thu Feb 04, 2010 05:26 AM

I did as I was told, but I was denied..Yet somehow I came up with the correct answer anyway.

    Good job!

  29. FileOnionimapuzzl on Thu Feb 04, 2010 06:59 AM

I hate these word search things. My screen gets all those highlighter marks on it....

  30. FileGarlicChupper on Thu Feb 04, 2010 07:42 AM

    well done!

  31. Avatar_profileWatermelontrex66 on Thu Feb 04, 2010 02:19 PM

I'm new to this site but, am I the only one that thinks this is a bad puzzle? The first step is straight forward, but in no way helps solve the puzzle - and peoples comments about salt and circles??? The only way to solve this is to guess
EDIT: salt and circles have nothing to do with the solution

  32. Avatar_profileBananaDJKuulA on Thu Feb 04, 2010 12:51 PM

You don't have to guess, but the clue should have had an "ing" in it.

  33. Soccer_ballCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Thu Feb 04, 2010 02:35 PM

[31] "Salt" is Tanganese for "hint". Since you're new here, this FAQ will probably help....

  34. Avatar_profileAppleAndraX2000 on Thu Feb 04, 2010 02:36 PM

[31] Salt is tanga-speak for "strong clue." There is a bit in the FAQ about why.

  35. MeKiwipadlocksan on Thu Feb 04, 2010 04:15 PM

    Excellent, excellent, excellent, Murdoctor !!
A beautiful re-interpretation of a classic-style puzzle. Brand new and yet still traditional.
