Beast threw me since that's not really her name...
know them all....but my tanga of them isn't taking.
[2] Probably having the same problem as [1]. If so, don't name her. Describe her.
[2] ...or you're not quite done.
A cruel devilish one, dearie.
I got halfway, but it took me a while to spot the final answer.
Same same here - I have a word, but can't figure out where to go from there.
[4] No....got the other person's name from Wiki....it's not taking.
74th solve... is that good? This is my first attempt on this site :)
[8] Perhaps you need to look at a couple more.
[9] Anything under 100? Pat yourself on the back.
ah....not Shakespere.
A cinch. And a fun one. Thanks! Happy V-Day.
Well, FWIW, I got off track by assuming the reference was to the Shakespearean character by the same name. I guess I missed what probably is the more common reference in contemporary culture.
[8] Keep trying... keep working like a dog and it'll turn out in black and white
Couldn't even beat 101.
That was great Must67! I hate it when I forget to finish the puzzle and wonder why my answer is wrong :(
that was a great one! thanks!
[1] Only if you speak French or Disney:)
I am failing... came up with p****** but that isn't getting me anywhere.
Edit: Thanks [22]... apparently we wanted a title and not an actual name.
[8], I think I made the same mistake as you but recovered - see my post in [14]... And think through what [14] said...
[20] Go look at that Beast one again
Solved it... but I don't believe the answer is the correct one.
Going by the book, not the movie, I believe the answer would be "Champ."
Edit: Nope, I did some research, and it was "Prince."
oh! thanks [14]. I got off on the same Shakespearen tangent. It made good sense.
But the real answer makes perfect sense.
[19] Looking at the company of the others in the puzzle, I think Disney was the reasonable assumption. Same goes to everyone who thought the answer pertained to Shakespeare or a book rather than the movie. For the record, despite my initial complaint, must67, it was a fun puzzle!
I think I had the same trouble many others had (and it had nothing to do with the "Beast" answer), after tangaing the first stage, my answer lead me to a VERY different place than the puzzler intended. We were supposed to go G but I went straight to NC-17.
