Good puzzle!
Very nice one Houck
Now I'm singing "I'm just a bill"
Ok, I suppose that it would help if one had ever seen the show you are aluding to, or knew what it was about. :(
i know what the lower left image is. specifically who created such a diagram, but still stuck as to where to apply the numbers. i just know i'm gonna kick myself when i have that aha moment.
[5] I'm with you. I believe it's based on a PBS series aimed at schoolchildren back in the 70's, and I think I have all the right letters, but can't put it together as a word.
The cartoon people really helped me get started, it doesn't really need the diagram on the bottom. Overall a nice puzzle.
Great idea!
[6] It was actually on ABC, not PBS. Specific knowledge of it isn't necessary to solve.
Finally got it :) I hated those diagrams when I was in school, and when I homeschooled my children.
I overthought this one, but in fairness, the lower left picture and hint #3 put me on an alternate (but incorrect) path.
I way overthought this one too...
Love is what through me off. Shoulda used a less ambiguous word.
NaCl - The word Love fits into multiple parts of speech.
School House Rock baby! :D
I'm with [11]. When there is diagramming to be done, my mind goes to 'subject-verb-object' not pronoun, etc... but still a fun concept. :)
