Took a little while, but when the aha hit, it was simple!

    Nice and tricky - don't over-think!

Never had an aha moment, but sort of a what if moment. And it worked.

    Awesome, finally got it.

  6. Soccer_ballCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Apr 02, 2010 07:12 PM

Finding the solution was a little drawn out.

  7. Avatar_profileRocketbarefootrd on Apr 02, 2010 07:14 PM

It's not suduko based, or bingo based, nor is it tanga'ing the totals of each cell (If it is, I'm so totally lost it doesn't matter). :p

    Any help would be great.

    Thank you Soccer Ref! Pretty!

    [6] Nicely salted. Thanks!

still no clue either....might be dice related with numbers 1-6..just a guess.

NM...solved. It was a puzzle of a different color. I just didn't make the right connections at first. Thanks [6] and [10]

Not bad, but no methodology behind the solution inherent in the puzzle; one just has to happen on that strategy. Thanks for the puzzle, though, nocca! :)

Could someone TG me a clue? All I have so far is a little drawn out, nicely salted solution of a different color - and that just makes me think of beef jerky.

Much later: Beef jerky was really close to the solution! All I had to do to get there from beef jerky was to start all over and change everything completely - and then I had it. And it didn't take any salt to get there, either. In fact, NACL was of no use to me tonight. What I needed were step by step directions given in words of no more than one syllable, and then I could almost get it.

To paraphrase Pogo, "I have met the enemy, and he is my brain (or lack thereof)."

[13] ever tried painting by using a kit? (you also kinda missed my salt on "making connections")

[6] There's an art to good salt, and you always have it. Thanks!

    Nifty.

    good one!

Thanks for passing the salt [6]!!

[14] did it for me. Thanks!

Numbers don't sit well with my brain. When I see a bunch and it's a puzzle I have some sort of freaky brain freeze. I learn much better with words, pictures and color.

But photoshop allowed me to sort things out nicely :)

Never would have solved it on my own, but now if I see a puzzle like this again, I think I'll remember and be able to solve it.
