I love math ! and google
I tried that too
.
[2] you're close - think how to finish the other statement.
[2] A bit too salty... and you still need to figure out the word that fills in the blank.
i agree...a little too salty [2]. Remember, it's a OWW
And [5] on top of that is too much saline...
[2] too salty...you gave it away.
Dang! If only I had looked while [2]'s comment was here ! I always miss the overly salty comments! :P
[10] It didn't help me any, so no worries...
Any nudges out there please?
[11] You really really won't like it.
[12] Hahaha... that's funny ^^ Thanks!
Dang.. I should have been on time:
You solved this puzzle in 15 seconds and were the 93rd Tanga member to solve it.
[10] [11] search on the keywords in the first bubble to get the number (which was basically all #2 had), then use my previous comment.
[5][6][7][8][9] it was a cry of desperation... to know the answer and not what the puzzle creator wants. Especially when I've never used that phrase. (Yes, I was the salty [2] person for those of you wondering,)
I tried several things from spelling out the answer to binary stuff (mentioning 0 and 1), with no luck.
took alot of googling but came in 98
it was really icky.
[15] I've got the first part just fine. It's finishing the phrase I am having a problem with - seeing as how I've never complained about disliking math!
Update - Ok, I noticed what the two had in common but didn't think to try it until I got a nudge. Thanks dduensing...
I liked this puzzle!
I think I'll go order a case of pencils now.
Please do not share the answers to the games and puzzles. Please do not share really obvious hints. Please play nice. Penalties will be severe.
Note, if you would like to refer to a specific comment just use its comment number within square brackets and we'll auto-link to that comment for you (eg. "[21] You are cool.").
just guessed it based off filling in the blank. Good puzzle though. Would have enjoyed having to solve it. Sometimes it's unlucky to be lucky.
[18] - I too have the number but to save my life I cant figure out how to use it to complete the phrase. I tried a few wild guesses which did not work.
[20] Thank you soccer_ref, that did it for me! I have learned to read your comments very carefully as they are always the most helpful without giving away the answer.
I really never liked math in school - but this puzzle is cool. But now that's it's 40 years since I graduated high school, I really like math, have to use it every day, sewing, cooking, crafting. SHOPPING, how could I forget? Figuring out if 30% off 2 items is cheaper than BOGO 1/2 off (hint: yes it is!). Thanx Murdoctor, you do good stuff :)
143rd...best I've done. :\
[23] Try looking up the number you have in wikipedia...
AHAHAHAHAHA fantastic. I was getting frustrated there for a minute too.
o wow, I was just about to give up until I just put in a random word and it was the answer lol.
I enjoyed the puzzle, but I was hoping to see the proof that there isn't another perfect square in the fibonacci sequence!
[26] So close... :-)
[27] thanks... that helped! But just like others, I never disliked math.. and I would never thought of that word to use.
[30] I just added it to the solution text...
The fact that the answer from the first bubble can be tanga'd into the word "ADD" really threw me off.
I know that is very salty but the puzzle has been up for over 20 hours - just had to vent.
[33] Very nice addition to the solution, Thanks!
You solved this puzzle in 20 hours, 44 minutes and 27 seconds and were the 325th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 3 points for solving this.
Ha! Not been able to get on here for a few days. Too bad. Got that immediately.
have to admit.....I guessed.
