I think there's a mistake. The 'magazine' pictures are not a part of the given answer.

[1] The first three images in the second line are a set, as are the last three images in the third line. It isn't as clear as it should be -- an additional red arrow pointing to the magazine might have helped.

Yeah, I think the first picture is a bit misleading, but even without it, the magazine cover gives it away.
Is the puzzle creator a Hyperion fan? (Not salt ... just an observation on the name)
