Awesome twist! I knew where to get started and thought that's where I was going, but no... I had to find the key before I could finish. Great first puzzle, hash_mcallister!

    November India Charlie Echo!!!

  12. Soccer_ballCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Jun 09, 2010 07:12 PM

[9] Did you do what the key instructed you to do?

  13. FileCheeseburgerQurqirishDragon on Jun 09, 2010 07:15 PM

[13] perhaps yet another of shakespeare's plays would nudge you a little further? I suggest Julius Ceasar.

  14. FileClockmust67 on Jun 09, 2010 07:15 PM

    Great first puzzle, Hash!

  15. Przewalskis-horseDuckiecrashbaptiste on Jun 09, 2010 07:16 PM

  17. Soccer_ballCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Jun 09, 2010 07:19 PM

  18. DadRaspberryjayvil on Jun 09, 2010 07:18 PM

Nice salt [14]! I just got it from [10] but your salt should help anyone still trying to get this.

  19. 8grg3zbpu691mpv38q2nRaspberryjebediehard on Jun 09, 2010 07:18 PM

Fun solve! Nice graphics! Very enjoyable (especially impressive for a first puzzle)...!

WOW I just guessed & got it - I mean I found the 1st step but had no idea what it meant or what to do with it, so I started guessing. Then when I solved it I found out how smart hash_ really is!!! And a 1st puzzle too - AWESOME dude!!! Solver #46, a personal best for me. YAY!

  24. Avatar_profileGrapespez105 on Jun 09, 2010 07:30 PM

    good puzzle, thanks

  25. FileCarrotmmene on Jun 09, 2010 07:32 PM

Finally solved it with all the salt - though I did not know anything about the subject matter to start out with.
Great puzzle though it assumed familiarity with what I think is a pretty uncommon set of information. Enjoyed it thoroughly anyway.

  26. Soccer_ballCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Jun 09, 2010 07:34 PM

[26] It's actually a lot more common than you think.

  27. FileCarrotmmene on Jun 09, 2010 07:44 PM

[27] I suppose. The problem could be me. Either way, every now and then someone picks subject matter which I probably am more familiar with than others so it is just par for the course. It was a fun puzzle and that is what really matters.
Plus the best puzzles are those where you actually learn something new.

  28. Image001SailboatKennyBruin on Jun 09, 2010 09:22 PM

Outstanding puzzle, especially for a first! Keep at it.
    Over and out.

  31. Old_couplePotatodimples33 on Jun 10, 2010 04:01 AM

    no clue - I have letters, but . . .

  32. 100_1703Eggsonjahi on Jun 10, 2010 06:08 AM

[32] Now you need to look for the key and use it to convert all those letters to something else.

  33. FilePumpkinkenpez on Jun 10, 2010 07:08 AM

You solved this puzzle in 7 minutes and 53 seconds and were the 191st Tanga member to solve it. You earned 10 points for solving this.

Geesh, I'm such a dope! I've got the letters, I see the key, but . . . nothing! This one has me completely bumfuzzled.
I'm hoping for a post and solve (but didn't happen this morning).

  38. Old_couplePotatodimples33 on Jun 10, 2010 12:34 PM

Update---Aghhh so frustrating, I got it,

  41. AnguseyeaCarrotbamar on Jun 10, 2010 02:11 PM

It took me forever to figure out what you all were talking about with the key thing.

I was looking but not seeing.

You actually meant a real life key.

From there it was easy :)

  42. Egyptian_2Garlicweisspferd on Jun 10, 2010 02:53 PM

It only took me 19 hours 31 minutes and 17 seconds to get my cookie and it tastes oh so satisfying! Not like the cake which is a lie!
