Grr, spelling.
YAY! First time in top 50 (or 100, for that matter):

The gear on the owl's eye confused me, but I just ignored it haha
I hate fighting with spelling!
Is there a herring here? :-)
[2] I was momentarily stopped by that gear too. I wonder why it's even there.
Agree with spelling complaints but I got top 100 twice in a row. That's never happened to me before. YAY.

18th, not bad considering I had no idea how to spell the last word.
Put in an unclued article at the beginning and it cost me dearly. :)
not seeing it
[9] I did the same thing.
the only way i got it was that I'm very familiar with that line. :)
#40. Knew it from the smaller image on the frontpage -- searched for correct spelling while it loaded.
Look hard to get the full Monty.
[12] That's probably how most people got it - not a phrase that is popping into my pea brain, though
NM Post and Solve
I've got parts of it, but seem to be stuck. Anyone willing to sprinkle some salt?
I'm not dead yet! :)
Never heard of the phrase before but if you google what you think the words are, it comes up.
Had it within seconds. Damn spelling!
Freaking spelling... Frack
Knew it from the small image on the front page. Took me 2 minutes of guessing and finally asking google to get spelling right.
your mother smells of elderberries.
What are the odds ? I just watched that yesterday ! I fart in your general direction.
Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?
Dangit. I stuck with "The" as the first word far too long. Habit! I can't refer to them without "The" !
Bring us a...... Shrubbery!
First time I got one of these!
I had the "the" at the begining for a long time also.
You solved this puzzle in 1 minute and 44 seconds and were the 436th Tanga member to solve it.
Sadly I recognized the owl as Bubo. Needless to say, this is not the right answer.
I must be using the wrong words. The concept is just not coming together. Salt?
Good one. No clue.
[29] The following comments are all from the same source as the clued phrase: [17],[22],[23](last sentence),[24],[26]. Googling one or more of them should get you the source of the phrase. Googling THAT with, say, the first image, will probably get you there.
FWIW to the spelling folks, I spelled it right the first time but then mispelled it instead of removing my extraneous article at the front! Then googled and still got it in 37 seconds...
EDIT: as a matter of fact [29], when I just now googled the source and the first image, google auto-completed the phrase for me (spelled correctly)!
Ekky-ekky-ekky-ekky-z'Bang, zoom-Boing, z'nourrrwringnmmm...

:) [31] thank you! I'm not familiar with the phrase. I got caught up in the third picture and it threw me as far as its intended use. I need to keep a closer watch on phrases thrown out there by the peanut gallery that make no sense to me. They obviously DO make sense. Better late than never.

I want to see that movie again

I was imagining a different utterance from the owls.
Thanks [22] for setting me straight. Then I had to look up the spelling of the last word. Whew.
Still, yay me!
