Yay first time under one hundred.

The first and second picture gave it away, you already know the rest of the saying after you've figured those two out

    #5 really? That's odd.

Wow 116th...would've been a million times faster if I hadn't had to log in AGAIN!!!

  8. Avatar_profilePlumMikerocosms on Nov 19, 2010 07:11 PM

    Darn not fast enough today.

  9. Avatar_profileStrawberryagc543 on Nov 19, 2010 07:16 PM

I was stuck working the last pictures but thanks [3], that made it easy.

  10. Tanga_profile_photoEggWhiteKnight85 on Nov 19, 2010 07:17 PM

    Nicely clued.

  11. FilePepperChupper on Nov 19, 2010 07:28 PM

great cluing on this one, though the constellation pronunciation seemed a little off to me

  12. Christopher_david_ryan_-_eyeGarlickc6201 on Nov 19, 2010 07:29 PM

    Having trouble with this one.

  13. Animal_slippersPlumDiane1027 on Nov 19, 2010 07:38 PM

I was 27th tonight on the OWW.... and on this one I am clueless! (It's usually the other way around!)

  14. 100_1703Eggsonjahi on Nov 19, 2010 07:39 PM

I can't believe my ISP *chose* to deny me internet access from 8:50 until 9:35 today. *groan*

When I finally got on, I mispelled the first word AND hit the wrong key in a later word... Just as well I wasn't here on time, I guess!

  15. Christopher_david_ryan_-_eyeGarlickc6201 on Nov 19, 2010 07:39 PM

I think I've figured out the main words, but I'm having trouble with the rest of it.

  16. Christopher_david_ryan_-_eyeGarlickc6201 on Nov 19, 2010 07:44 PM

Can anybody help me? Tanga-gram maybe?

  17. HomerthescreamGrapesMaddMaxximus on Nov 19, 2010 07:57 PM

  18. BjDuckiedrlaura92 on Nov 19, 2010 07:59 PM

On the first picture, am I supposed to be concerned with what is blocked out on two of the five?

  19. HomerthescreamGrapesMaddMaxximus on Nov 19, 2010 08:01 PM

    [16]

    1776

  20. Eg181208Potatotvfamily on Nov 19, 2010 08:06 PM

You solved this puzzle in 2 minutes and 5 seconds and were the 70th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 41 points for solving this.

Knew it after the first couple of words, but wasn't sure because the rest was awkward, especially the last word, which I still don't recognize!

  21. Christopher_david_ryan_-_eyeGarlickc6201 on Nov 19, 2010 08:07 PM

[19] Well that's not even close to anything I thought I figured out. Totally lost now.

Just thought of the musical, but none of the songs match any words I've got either...

How come this is so hard for me? Seems like a lot of you are getting it easily. Google is no help for me tonight!

  22. Christopher_david_ryan_-_eyeGarlickc6201 on Nov 19, 2010 08:08 PM

[20] I think I've got the last word (or clue at least). That game has 2 different names.

  23. Avatar_profilePearstubs69 on Nov 19, 2010 08:10 PM

You solved this puzzle in 21 seconds and were the 236th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 10 points for solving this. good one!

  24. Christopher_david_ryan_-_eyeGarlickc6201 on Nov 19, 2010 08:12 PM

Well I give up (for now). Got school work to do. If anyone wants to give me further clues by t-gram, that would be great. I don't want the answer though!

  25. BjDuckiedrlaura92 on Nov 19, 2010 08:23 PM

Finally solved it. Salt: the two red areas are all that you need to focus on in the first picture.

  26. Strat_150x150Rocketjcqueen on Nov 19, 2010 08:24 PM

I had it with the first picture.

[24] Give it another go. Don't stop now.

  27. Animal_slippersPlumDiane1027 on Nov 19, 2010 09:12 PM

I know the first picture - got the reddened areas.

Can't figure out the significance of the nine N's.

I know the movie title and the constellation, and BOTH names of the game.

So... why can't I put it all together??? (Rhetorical questions, really!)

*EDIT - Finally got it with a little help!!! (Thanks for the nudge DrLaura!!!)*

  28. Avatar_profileRadishbeadbroad on Nov 19, 2010 09:06 PM

Thank you 19. That did it for me.

  29. 4a6728f9d482__1178606385000Applebkchavez on Nov 19, 2010 09:25 PM

    Thanks, [3], for the salt!

  30. Christopher_david_ryan_-_eyeGarlickc6201 on Nov 20, 2010 09:13 PM

Finally got it with help form a t-gram. Neither of the two names that I know for the game pictured is what is wanted. Also, "1776" isn't really a helpful clue unless you're confused about American history. I get how it relates but the origin of the answer didn't occur at that time. Here I was looking for things relating to the Declaration of Independence and the Founding Fathers. I dunno, maybe it works for some people, but when I hear that phrase, I don't picture the same thing as what I do thinking about 1776.

  31. Ncvacation2011_123Acemmp21989 on Nov 20, 2010 03:33 AM

Still wishing I was in your time zone!

  32. Avatar_profileApplepenelopepete on Nov 20, 2010 04:07 AM

    Very well clued, reads perfectly!

  33. AnguseyeaCarrotbamar on Nov 20, 2010 06:21 AM

Got all the words but can't make it into a sensible phrase. I think the second pic is messing me up. I'm probably saying the wrong thing.

  34. MarkerryanCarrotryanker on Nov 20, 2010 06:25 AM

[30] What did you use for the last picture? The Chinese? Korean? Japanese? As you found, you want the westernized version of the Japanese name.

  35. MarkerryanCarrotryanker on Nov 20, 2010 06:26 AM

[33] The count doesn't matter... just that there's more than one.

  36. FilePotatoDandelion_Wine on Nov 20, 2010 08:01 AM

Got it after the badge pics and the N-grid sealed it for me.

    Nicely clued!

  37. Avatar_profileGrapesHubby on Nov 20, 2010 08:07 AM

The H in the movie title was confusing, but I worked through it and finally got it.

  38. Avatar_profileStrawberryglena171 on Nov 20, 2010 10:10 AM

having trouble with the name of the game-- any help would be appreciated

  39. AnguseyeaCarrotbamar on Nov 20, 2010 04:04 PM

Finally got it. For some reason I was thinking the redded out areas on the badges were the same word. Sheesh.

  40. Christopher_david_ryan_-_eyeGarlickc6201 on Nov 20, 2010 09:14 PM

[34] I don't know; it's not really a game I'm familiar with. The two names I was thinking of were Reversi and Othello. I guess I have heard of the other name; it just wasn't fresh in my mind.

  41. Christopher_david_ryan_-_eyeGarlickc6201 on Nov 20, 2010 09:16 PM

[39] I thought the same thing. Also was thinking that the word in the movie title was a stand alone, not part of another word or pronounced differently. So I was looking for phrases with that specific word. And then I also thought the last clue was Othello, so thought maybe the word "hell" was in there too. Was so far off!

  42. MarkerryanCarrotryanker on Nov 21, 2010 08:34 AM

[38] Still stuck on the game name? Try http://bit.ly/cFjvpM Again, you want the European/American(/Japanese) name.

  43. Avatar_profilePeachhemmi1 on Nov 24, 2010 08:25 PM

I found this difficult, but I'm learning to REALLY see, not just skim, and that's a good thing :)!
