    It's not "gigi"...

  2. FileTomatoMurdoctor on Oct 23, 2010 07:27 AM

    ... or "auau".

  3. FractalTomatodduensing on Oct 23, 2010 08:19 AM

    ...or au-bars

    NM....I missed seeing the puzzle's "fruit-y" goodness.

    Thank-you [3]. Had not a clue.

I understand the "au" comments, don't get the fruity comments. Salt, please?

EDIT: I just figured it out.

    [5] I'm with you.

  7. OctopusPeppercomishcraig on Oct 23, 2010 09:21 AM

    [5] [6] I don't see anything I can work with either

    [6] TG sent.

[5][7] the fruit-y salt has to do with the number of bars

Well, I came up with LOTS of good (and not-so-good) answers that weren't what the author had in mind:

asteroid belt (approx. 2 AU from the sun)
    audible (AU table)
    auto (AU two)
    barber (bar bar)
    Barstable
    double gold
Gigi (tanga-ing 7 and 9 twice, also found by [1])
    Goldwyn (gold twin)
    tubers (two bars)

But after a long while, I finally saw eye-to-eye with the author.

hrm. it's not two gold bars on a periodic table of elements on tanga.com...

  11. Avatar_profilePeachcbuddha on Oct 25, 2010 10:01 PM

    Thought it was Periodicals "au"s

  12. FilePotatoChas501 on Oct 26, 2010 09:52 AM

I was mislead by the pictures of the Goldkenn fine swiss chocolate bars.

  13. Eg181208Potatotvfamily on Oct 26, 2010 01:11 PM

So it's actually gold bars, not chocolate? Any more salt?

    To Oz?

  15. Christopher_david_ryan_-_eyeGarlickc6201 on Nov 13, 2010 05:57 AM

You solved this puzzle in 15 minutes and 2 seconds and were the 184th Tanga member to solve it.

Holy carp, never thought I was going to get that. I still don't understand the fruit comment. If anybody is still stuck, it's a French term and an occupation.

    I just the "fruit" clue...groan.
