First time in the top 100! Woo hoo!!!
d'oh...
You solved this puzzle in 3 minutes and 3 seconds and were the 101st Tanga member to solve it
The first pic should be easy, but it seems not to be?
[5] Thanks, got the first pic, but the rest seems easy, but makes no sense ????
[4] Problem with the first pic is there's nothing to show you the comparative size of that tasty treat.
Man, those voiced versus unvoiced consonants...
Nice one - thanks.
Puzzles like this keep me returning.
You solved this puzzle in 18 minutes and 3 seconds and were the 174th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 10 points for solving this.
Took me a long time to sound it out...
How timely since that was the reading at Mass on Sunday
Hey, how do you remove an N from shrimp? At least that's what we call the 1st pic in Texas.
Just joshing y'all, I know what it is, I've been to a fish market in San Francisco where they call 'em that! :)
I'm probably the only person you'll ever meet who went to a restaurant at Fisherman's Wharf & ordered & ate a cheeseburger! And it was yummmmmmy, too :) I know I was the only one not using chopsticks in the restaurant we went to in Chinatown. :)
I seem to have these pronouncing problems with Denise's puzzles. Also there seems to be missing consonants? [6]
You solved this puzzle in 2 minutes and 2 seconds and were the 241st Tanga member to solve it.
Sounded it out, but it is a bit awkward.
Still, yay me!
[10] I was wondering the same thing! lol! Had to really think to remember another name. This was really nice, Denise!
[11] I don't see any missing consonants. There's a D/T, K/G kind of change out but those are pretty standard around here.
Q: What's the difference between a shrimp and the item in picture #1?
A: About $2 a pound!
got it from #9
where did my Tanga points go?
Why eat on Fisherman's Wharf?
I know what all three pics are but I'm not making any sense from this puzzle at all. I keep saying it over and over and nothing.
woo hoo first time in the top 500
[13] I don't agree that D/T or K/G sound switches are "standard" on Tanga.
There's no N in shrimp.
9 Thanks Dandelion good salt
It was a good puzzle. Put it all together and said it all very quickly. Got it on second try. Good puzzle.
I agree with "bamar" [18] I know what all three pics are but I'm not making any sense from this puzzle at all. I keep saying it over and over and nothing. I've said it fast and slow and nothing. I guess this is just not my game. lol
the 610th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 10 points for solving this.
[20] took your salt to correct my prounounciation. Sheeeeeeeeeeeesh..................... :(
[18] [24]
The first two pictures are syllables from the first word.
The second picture is the entire second word of the answer, and a straight-forward homophone.
Thanks #9
Oh yeah, you know how the letter t makes a d sound.
Great puzzle!
Thanks also to #9..I was awake for last Sunday's sermon .
uh oh I was 666th, I'M DOOMED
You solved this puzzle in 6 seconds and were the 678th Tanga member to solve it.
12 1/2 minutes but I got it!
Just checked the solution.
This was a real stretch.
[20][28] Kind of like the ubiquitous use of "duh" to clue "the"? :)
Thanks for all the hints. I finally got it.
Man - Had to do a google search for other words for shrimp... Fun one!
That was really stretching it.
Agree with [38] and had to do [37]--maybe use a different first picture.
