Awesome. Loved it
Blows my mind how anyone can get it so quickly. There isn't so much as a hint of a clue.
Wow! 2nd. Went with instinct and it paid off.
translating words into italian didn't go anywhere
[5] we know that..... what we don't know is how to apply it.
Using the numerals doesn't help either.
EDIT: yes, it does, but you have to know when to use the "spacers".
Location, location, location. What city is that building in?
nice puzzle. definitely requires an aha moment.
I LOVED the Aha!!!
salts not helping :(
[5] I know where the building is, but I'm still way beyond lost.
[9] same here. I feel like I kind of get it, but every time I follow a lead, I get lost again.
Yeah, all roads are not leading me to this answer...
[9] Perhaps you should count on that. You know, "When in ......"
[12] I tried that, still missing something
[13] You mean you have some blank spaces? Try taking another look at where they are.
AHA!! It all makes sense now!
Bella
nothing is working what am I missing
maybe i'm over complicating this one.
[17] Read what soccer_ref has been saying. Put all his clues together and "when in ____, think like the (natives)"
Lets count the wheels on the big rig
oh there's 12345678910111213141516 wheels on the big rig!
Ok, now in roman numerals
oh there's
iiiiiiivvviviiviiiixxxixiixiiixivxvxvi wheels on the big rig
Va bene! Where is my Vespa!
[20] still not helping...sorry
Got it with salt..... there is a LOT of noise in this puzzle. Don't try to use everything.
I went down wrong outlets like trying to find "3 feet 9 poets". I'm not a big fan of this puzzle.
Why do I have the feeling I'm going to kick myself when I figure this one out?
Best puzzle in a long while.
You solved this puzzle in 32 minutes and 31 seconds and were the 58th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 53 points for solving this.
All I have to say is "wow"
Probably wouldn't have gotten it without soccer_ref's salt. Thanks!
Edit: A little more salt: Getting the solution is a 3-step process.
[19] Just so you know....soccer_ref is a SHE. But I get that all the time. LOL
my brain power has left me.
I'm not seeing it
[24] Thanks a lot!
ok I have 4 numbers, now what?
sorry, double post
Wow. All that needless counting and calculating and it was right in front of me the whole time! Great puzzle.
whoa. got it. that was crazy.
You solved this puzzle in 50 minutes and 5 seconds and were the 79th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 32 points for solving this.
Whew! Great puzzle, ultimately it was [30] that gave me the first step, after that, it was obvious.
...38 minutes and 8 seconds and were the 80th...
I got here 14 minutes late, took over half an hour to solve it and I'm STILL in the top 100???
And may I say... Arrrgghh!!! I had step one in about five minutes (sans salt), and then stared at it for the remaining time. Addition? Clock face? Money? But of course... Tanga. :-)
i got the answer, but I still don't see how [20] is helpful
I agree, [20] is not really related to the solve method; kept me on the wrong track for quite a while. That's my fault, of course. As usual I overcomplicated things...
[30] is the real salt.
Hmmm... is [30] TOO salty?
[37] ugh, and i still don't have the answer
[39] What do you usually try out when you have numbers in Tanga puzzles?
Finally got it - great aha!
There should be a way to tag a comment when you make it so that it only shows up after you've solved - so no need to worry about too much salt. :)
Can someone send me a little more salt as a private message
Me too??? Please?
TY [40], I was trying to Tanga them into everything but
You solved this puzzle in 1 hour, 38 minutes and 57 seconds and were the 104th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 10 points for solving this.
arg, followed by d'oh and duh
You solved this puzzle in 5 minutes and 53 seconds and were the 188th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 10 points for solving this.
Wow, not that many solves for being this late!
Sucks to not be part of the popular clique...... no salt...... no solution. Rats!
[47] There's been plenty of salt. I don't think there's some club where people share answers.
[47]there was a time on Tanga...salt was BAD. or bad taste.
but here goes...[4]not Italian, Roman.
[20] was the KEY.
I should have trusted my solution, I have found it half an hour ago but did not try thinking it has no meaning.
