    Awesome. Loved it

  2. FileCarrotmmene on Sep 09, 2010 07:05 PM

Blows my mind how anyone can get it so quickly. There isn't so much as a hint of a clue.

  3. Soccer_ballCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Sep 09, 2010 07:05 PM

Wow! 2nd. Went with instinct and it paid off.

  4. FractalTomatodduensing on Sep 09, 2010 07:37 PM

translating words into italian didn't go anywhere

[5] we know that..... what we don't know is how to apply it.

Using the numerals doesn't help either.
EDIT: yes, it does, but you have to know when to use the "spacers".

  5. Soccer_ballCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Sep 09, 2010 07:08 PM

Location, location, location. What city is that building in?

  6. DharmaswanOnionskresovs on Sep 09, 2010 07:09 PM

nice puzzle. definitely requires an aha moment.

  7. Ted_doggRaspberrydmlafrance on Sep 09, 2010 07:11 PM

  8. Avatar_profilePeachpiratesbooty on Sep 09, 2010 07:12 PM

  9. FileAppleyalsof on Sep 09, 2010 07:13 PM

[5] I know where the building is, but I'm still way beyond lost.

[9] same here. I feel like I kind of get it, but every time I follow a lead, I get lost again.

  11. FileCarrotmmene on Sep 09, 2010 07:15 PM

Yeah, all roads are not leading me to this answer...

  12. Soccer_ballCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Sep 09, 2010 07:20 PM

[9] Perhaps you should count on that. You know, "When in ......"

  13. The_faceSailboatChrika on Sep 09, 2010 07:17 PM

[12] I tried that, still missing something

  14. Soccer_ballCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Sep 09, 2010 07:19 PM

[13] You mean you have some blank spaces? Try taking another look at where they are.

  15. FileAppleyalsof on Sep 09, 2010 07:22 PM

AHA!! It all makes sense now!

  16. Avatar_profileAppleleroya1 on Sep 09, 2010 07:22 PM

  17. Avatar_profileGrapespacman5 on Sep 09, 2010 07:23 PM

nothing is working what am I missing

  18. Avatar_profilePeachpiratesbooty on Sep 09, 2010 07:26 PM

maybe i'm over complicating this one.

  19. FileAppleyalsof on Sep 09, 2010 07:28 PM

[17] Read what soccer_ref has been saying. Put all his clues together and "when in ____, think like the (natives)"

  20. Avatar_profileApplealseen on Sep 09, 2010 07:28 PM

Lets count the wheels on the big rig
oh there's 12345678910111213141516 wheels on the big rig!
    Ok, now in roman numerals

Va bene! Where is my Vespa!

  22. FractalTomatodduensing on Sep 09, 2010 08:24 PM

    [20] still not helping...sorry

Got it with salt..... there is a LOT of noise in this puzzle. Don't try to use everything.
I went down wrong outlets like trying to find "3 feet 9 poets". I'm not a big fan of this puzzle.

  23. Olivia_s_pic_of_trentStrawberrycodyduffey on Sep 09, 2010 07:32 PM

Why do I have the feeling I'm going to kick myself when I figure this one out?

  24. FileRaspberrydsmeyer on Sep 09, 2010 07:32 PM

Best puzzle in a long while.

  25. Nick_dress_blues_2Pancakesbitwisenot on Sep 09, 2010 07:36 PM

You solved this puzzle in 32 minutes and 31 seconds and were the 58th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 53 points for solving this.

All I have to say is "wow"

Probably wouldn't have gotten it without soccer_ref's salt. Thanks!

Edit: A little more salt: Getting the solution is a 3-step process.

  26. Soccer_ballCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Sep 09, 2010 07:42 PM

[19] Just so you know....soccer_ref is a SHE. But I get that all the time. LOL

  27. Avatar_profilePeachpiratesbooty on Sep 09, 2010 07:43 PM

my brain power has left me.

  28. Avatar_profileGrapespacman5 on Sep 09, 2010 07:44 PM

    I'm not seeing it

  29. NelsonKiwiVinDash on Sep 09, 2010 07:47 PM

    [24] Thanks a lot!

  30. The_faceSailboatChrika on Sep 09, 2010 07:48 PM

ok I have 4 numbers, now what?

  31. The_faceSailboatChrika on Sep 09, 2010 07:51 PM

    sorry, double post

  32. Cutie_jillianPeppersuzique on Sep 09, 2010 07:49 PM

Wow. All that needless counting and calculating and it was right in front of me the whole time! Great puzzle.

  33. Avatar_profilePeachpiratesbooty on Sep 09, 2010 07:51 PM

whoa. got it. that was crazy.

  34. SnaitfAppleSnaitf on Sep 09, 2010 07:52 PM

You solved this puzzle in 50 minutes and 5 seconds and were the 79th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 32 points for solving this.

Whew! Great puzzle, ultimately it was [30] that gave me the first step, after that, it was obvious.

  35. MarkerryanCarrotryanker on Sep 09, 2010 07:56 PM

...38 minutes and 8 seconds and were the 80th...

I got here 14 minutes late, took over half an hour to solve it and I'm STILL in the top 100???

And may I say... Arrrgghh!!! I had step one in about five minutes (sans salt), and then stared at it for the remaining time. Addition? Clock face? Money? But of course... Tanga. :-)

  36. FilePancakestempus42 on Sep 09, 2010 08:00 PM

i got the answer, but I still don't see how [20] is helpful

  37. Img_0189Egggst on Sep 09, 2010 08:13 PM

I agree, [20] is not really related to the solve method; kept me on the wrong track for quite a while. That's my fault, of course. As usual I overcomplicated things...

    [30] is the real salt.

  38. MarkerryanCarrotryanker on Sep 09, 2010 08:23 PM

    Hmmm... is [30] TOO salty?

  39. The_faceSailboatChrika on Sep 09, 2010 08:23 PM

[37] ugh, and i still don't have the answer

  40. Avatar_profileAppledonaldktsang on Sep 09, 2010 08:33 PM

[39] What do you usually try out when you have numbers in Tanga puzzles?

  41. 2951_72460803643_680288643_1849615_6860025_nGrapesCpt_Jemand on Sep 09, 2010 08:37 PM

Finally got it - great aha!

There should be a way to tag a comment when you make it so that it only shows up after you've solved - so no need to worry about too much salt. :)

  42. Avatar_profileGrapespacman5 on Sep 09, 2010 08:45 PM

Can someone send me a little more salt as a private message

  43. Panda-flyGarlicpandapal on Sep 09, 2010 08:48 PM

    Me too??? Please?

  44. The_faceSailboatChrika on Sep 09, 2010 08:51 PM

TY [40], I was trying to Tanga them into everything but

You solved this puzzle in 1 hour, 38 minutes and 57 seconds and were the 104th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 10 points for solving this.

You solved this puzzle in 5 minutes and 53 seconds and were the 188th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 10 points for solving this.

Wow, not that many solves for being this late!

  47. Panda-flyGarlicpandapal on Sep 10, 2010 06:43 PM

Sucks to not be part of the popular clique...... no salt...... no solution. Rats!

  48. Christopher_david_ryan_-_eyeGarlickc6201 on Sep 10, 2010 11:18 PM

[47] There's been plenty of salt. I don't think there's some club where people share answers.

  49. FilePumpkinJohnQ118 on Sep 11, 2010 03:51 AM

[47]there was a time on Tanga...salt was BAD. or bad taste.
    but here goes...[4]not Italian, Roman.
    [20] was the KEY.

  50. Avatar_profileStrawberryozkose on Sep 27, 2010 10:43 PM

I should have trusted my solution, I have found it half an hour ago but did not try thinking it has no meaning.
