You solved this puzzle in 2 minutes and 6 seconds and were the 17th Tanga member to solve it.
I must be a hotshot.
[1] I'm still in the "stare for a while" phase of my standard solve method, please come back later.
Got it in a minute, but took five minutes for the puzzle to load.
[3] Time for a new computer or ISP... or you're a fan of hyperbole! :)
[2] I'm with you. Problem is, I tend to get distracted by other things during my "stare for awhile" phase...
the 86th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 25 points for solving this! A real puzzler, Mr Sammydb!
I'm not sure if I liked this. I would have been done a lot sooner had I ordered the answer better.
ugh...10 minutes of staring and not a clue yet.
NM....don't go down the path I did......looking at types of keyboards.... QWERTY and Dvorak aren't the things to research.
Ok, this was a great puzzle too - even if I barely snuck in at 98th. Took my husband to notice what I was missing. Then he noticed one more that didn't actually belong as part of the solve. What I had couldn't be a word because of that wrong letter. Threw it in an anagram solver, which threw out the bad letter for me and gave me the answer. Can't complain. If it wasn't for him, I'd still be in the staring phase. :)
Phew, just snuck in at 100th. Had it solved quite a bit earlier except somehow I had a bonus V.
Doh. I didn't see the dang J at the beginning of the whole thing - threw me off.
[9] Ah-hah! You and my hubby must be related! :)
70th F+
I also lost *many* minutes due to the extra letter :(
2 min 2 sec for 30th.
Sammydb, clever little puzzle.
[9] Same here. :-)
Didja miss me? I'm back!
[9] I did too but i just threw it out & went with the others that made a word!
[4][7][11] my friend I can get distracted while actively trying to solve BEFORE or AFTER my staring phase of puzzle-solving! LOL :)
You solved this puzzle in 1 minute and 37 seconds and were the 31st Tanga member to solve it. You earned 80 points for solving this.
Thanks, sammydb. This was my kind of logic, it instantly made sense to me.
[9], [14] me too! Fortunately the answer jumped out at me even with the bonus letter and I guessed right. I went back to look at the puzzle again and still couldn't find the bonus V, but after a while I realized it is right there hiding in plain sight! I wonder if there is an interesting psychological reason that so many of us missed it.
grr, after the first two letters I actually guessed the correct answer but it did not take. After much more searching (including the aforementioned mysteriously appearing "v"), I finally ended up trying the same thing and this time it took it. Kind of frustrating but hey, its just a puzzle.
[18] Here's why:

Solution to Test 1:
There are 6. Most people see only 3. Why?
1. The mind ignores the word “of”
a. The “f” in the English word “of” is pronounced like a “v”
b. The mind reads complete phrases or sentences, not individual letters
2. Attention is drawn to the uncommon break points in the words “result” and “scientific”
Solution to Test 2:
“Only smart people can read this.
Couldn’t believe that I could actually understand what I was reading. The phenomenal power of the human mind, according to a researcher at Cambridge University, it doesn’t matter in what order the letters in a word are, the only important thing is that the first and last letter be in the
right place. The rest can be a total mess and you can still read it without a problem.
This is because the human mind does not read every letter by itself, but the word as a whole. Amazing huh? Yeah and I always thought spelling was important! If you can read this pass it on!!”
not sure what all the V talk is about, but i figured it out eventually anyway. thanks bro for keeping me up past my bedtime... you are a brat :)
[23] 10:49 is past your bedtime sister?? it's 1:21 and i'm still on here!!
YAY!! finally got one under 500...lol.
nice, I need to do these more often.
You solved this puzzle in 14 hours, 24 minutes and 52 seconds and were the 316th Tanga member to solve it. muahahahaha this one had me so stumped and my friend figured it out in like a minute, and i felt so bleck but yay!!!
You solved this puzzle in 5 minutes and 44 seconds and were the 328th Tanga member to solve it.
I didn't want to give up...
I have no idea, someone said it doesn't have anything to do with the keyboard?
.
Nice puzzle. Weird.....I also had the 'v' for a while until i saw it.
