My first featured puzzle! I hope it's not too easy and more importantly, I hope everyone enjoys it.

Enjoyed it very much, Alpha. Great clues! And thanks for a solution everyone will recognize!

Well, pretty easy - and pretty clever. Nice, and we appreciate the effort. Thanks.
25th in thirty-nine (because the mouse fell on the floor).

I thought the first word was Lemon. Took me 2 minutes to see my mistake

  7. Phi3CornPhilana on Nov 29, 2010 07:05 PM

    Good puzzle, ASC!

  8. Eg181208Potatotvfamily on Nov 29, 2010 07:11 PM

Know the last phrase, but can't put it together??

  9. 100_1703Eggsonjahi on Nov 29, 2010 07:13 PM

    [8] Google what you've got.

Very nice, Alpha. I got Mr. Bradshaw's first name wrong (for some crazy reason) which had me with the wrong first word for just a minute.

  10. Avatar_profilePeachrebecking on Nov 29, 2010 07:14 PM

Any salt for the first pic?

  11. Images-1Kiwipandapusher on Nov 29, 2010 07:15 PM

Run through their famous routine. They did it on radio and film.

  12. Eg181208Potatotvfamily on Nov 29, 2010 07:16 PM

the 200th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 10 points for solving this.
Finally put it together, thought a school was involved!!!!!!!

  13. FilePumpkinkenpez on Nov 29, 2010 07:17 PM

[10] Just say what you see.

  14. Christopher_david_ryan_-_eyeGarlickc6201 on Nov 29, 2010 07:20 PM

    I'm so lost.

  15. Images-1Kiwipandapusher on Nov 29, 2010 07:25 PM

They ain't Laurel 'n Hardy. Look at what the little fat guy is holding.

  16. Christopher_david_ryan_-_eyeGarlickc6201 on Nov 29, 2010 07:25 PM

I don't understand the first clue. Is it different than what you would get from just having the letters "LMN"?

  17. Christopher_david_ryan_-_eyeGarlickc6201 on Nov 29, 2010 07:26 PM

[15] Yeah, I get the last clue. Does the whole puzzle have to do with that routine or just the last clue?

  18. Images-1Kiwipandapusher on Nov 29, 2010 07:37 PM

Uh, nope - not the whole puzzle. The 1st clue has to quickly be connected to the TV announcer fellow. You only need the blued-out words, not the whole balloon.

  19. MyteamlogoRadishBonehead606 on Nov 29, 2010 07:29 PM

Nice puzzle...great first for you Alpha!

  20. FileCarrotmmene on Nov 29, 2010 07:32 PM

All you have to do is apply the science of deduction. Great puzzle.

  21. Christopher_david_ryan_-_eyeGarlickc6201 on Nov 29, 2010 07:37 PM

[18] When you say "TV announcer fellow" do you mean the guy in second pic? I know who that is. Or do you mean something different entirely that relates to the first pic? How come this puzzle doesn't make any sense to me?

  22. Christopher_david_ryan_-_eyeGarlickc6201 on Nov 29, 2010 07:38 PM

Nevermind, I finally got it. My main problem was that I thought that was Tylenol!

  23. Images-1Kiwipandapusher on Nov 29, 2010 07:49 PM

TV fellow (2nd pic) is famous footballer - has a first name. You need that. Run everything together in a mumble.

  24. Animal_slippersPlumDiane1027 on Nov 29, 2010 08:05 PM

ou solved this puzzle in 35 seconds and were the 302nd Tanga member to solve it.

    Great puzzle Alpha!

    Congrats Rad24!

  25. FilePumpkinRickj4029 on Nov 29, 2010 08:06 PM

    Very clever, well done!

  26. St._louis_blues_logoPlumAlphaSigChainsaw on Nov 29, 2010 08:20 PM

Thanks for the encouraging words all!

  27. 100_1703Eggsonjahi on Nov 29, 2010 08:31 PM

[22] That would definitely cramp your style in getting the answer!

  28. FileRocketcheyennebay on Nov 29, 2010 08:39 PM

    Really nice first puzzle....thank you

  29. FileRocketcheyennebay on Nov 29, 2010 08:45 PM

LOL I kept trying to solve it with LMNO I don't know where the O was coming from but I was trying to say ELLE MENO...... I'm an idiot.. Great puzzle after I realized there is no O

  31. Avatar_profileAppledkahane on Nov 29, 2010 09:57 PM

    [30] Kinda salty, no?

  32. Avatar_profileStrawberryTrentR on Nov 29, 2010 10:49 PM

    [1]Excellently done sir.

  33. WaddamsAppledroopy on Nov 29, 2010 10:51 PM

    This was a good one.

  34. AnguseyeaCarrotbamar on Nov 30, 2010 04:50 AM

Lovely puzzle. I took a little while for the penny to drop after I said it a few times, but I smiled when it came to me. Nicely clued.

  35. Blane_400x400PlumBlaneMather on Nov 30, 2010 05:00 AM

    Well done, Alpha. Nicely clued.

BTW, I'm glad that you mention that this expression, while very popular, never actually appeared verbatim in the original stories.

  36. Avatar_profileGrapesjakryk on Nov 30, 2010 05:56 AM

What time zone are they talking about when they post the puzzle? I'm on the East coast and didn't see it at 7:00 pm my time.

  37. Cs_teachPearMangy66 on Nov 30, 2010 06:03 AM

You solved this puzzle in 17 seconds and were the 560th Tanga member to solve it.

    Wish I could spell better.

I guessed after the first pic. But, if I had to look at all the clues, I'd have been lost on the 3rd pic.

  38. Avatar_profileOrangemdaniloff on Nov 30, 2010 06:10 AM

You solved this puzzle in 16 seconds and were the 564th Tanga member to solve it.

This was a good one. And using computers, sports, health care products, old time vaudeville bits for clues to -reference to a classic line! It had it all!

  39. 100_1703Eggsonjahi on Nov 30, 2010 07:08 AM

    [36] It's 7pm pacific so 10pm your time.

[31] I don't think so. Those letters are so obvious and were already brought up in [16].

  40. Avatar_profilePearblocher86 on Nov 30, 2010 08:50 AM

    Loved it!

  41. Harley_quinn_death_of_batman_by_insanekane87Strawberrysweetanemic on Nov 30, 2010 09:08 AM

You solved this puzzle in 2 minutes and 46 seconds and were the 655th Tanga member to solve it

got a little confused at first, but once I sounded out the first two clues I got it. :)

  42. FileAppleqwertyca on Nov 30, 2010 09:18 AM

Got it with just the first line. :-)

  43. Avatar_profileCherrieselootens on Nov 30, 2010 09:29 AM

You solved this puzzle in 5 minutes and 0 seconds and were the 664th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 10 points for solving this.
That took a while! Gosh! I feel stupid now!

  44. MutaPeachhogefan on Nov 30, 2010 10:31 AM

if you could figure out the first word, you shouldn't need to look at any of the other clues

  45. Avatar_profileOrangestvbrx on Nov 30, 2010 11:26 AM

    16 seconds......(clue) No @#$+ Sherlock

  46. Sherman109Plumtina20 on Nov 30, 2010 03:56 PM

You solved this puzzle in 7 seconds

    Congrats Alpha... great puzzle :)

  47. Hpim0182Rocketdragontearsoflove on Nov 30, 2010 04:24 PM

cool, pretty easy, but still fun...got it without using the last set of pics...really fun.

  48. Avatar_profilePeachrebecking on Nov 30, 2010 07:21 PM

Errrr....I was stuck on the first pic last night. Came back to it tonight and got it right away. I hate when that happens ;o(
