Go Phillies!
got the words, dunno what to do with them
You solved this puzzle in 10 minutes and 42 seconds and were the 2nd Tanga member to solve it.
Nice puzzle!
Great puzzle...
Nice mechanism for the second step...
The final answer is the British spelling...
Nicely done, spamwise.
I got the first clue, and the first five letters spell something, but the rest isn't working.
You solved this puzzle in 8 minutes and 26 seconds and were the 4th Tanga member to solve it.
Woot! my best ever!
I may have to look up spelling, I thought it was different
edit- Yup. This word is spelled wrong for the definition. Still a cool puzzle.
Go Reds!
I've gone through the first two steps, but I can't figure out what answer the second part wants.
[6] Same here.
Nevermind. Seems the Twins hat was misleading.
Nice spamwise. LOVE baseball!
Very clever, I just wish I hadn't misspelled the answer at first, it sent me off on a wild goose chase.
Leave it to the Braves to commit all those errors!
[4] & [8] I feel your pain. I'm stuck in the same spot.
[4] [8] [13] Me too. First two steps, I think I got. Lost from there...
thanks to [9], I now have a two-word phrase, but the few things it describes don't seem to work.
Please see the note in [4], you have been warned...
The spelling issue is just uncool.
[9] Based on the scoreboard - I think the Twins are on the road!
Nice puzzle spamwise!
Stuck at the end british or not, where do you go from here?
[19] Ditto
[18] Use the newer logo; they still use 'em both, but the newer one is the one you want. Not that it has gotten me anywhere.
Any salt on where to go with the two 5-letter words?
I just want to know why some games are interleague and some aren't?
(OK, I also want to know how to solve this puzzle, but I was just wondering...)
You don't need the first word to get the answer.
They play some inter-league and some normal at same time now throughout season. I think they try to mix it up so all IL games are not at same time.
lol. BigSlick is easily distracted. :)
Very nice solving method; original!
Very *poor* and vague final clue. It's not even a very accurate definition of the target answer. A big dent in an otherwise nice puzzle.
[25] gotcha; didn't realize that
[26] Yes I am
[22] Interesting... I have two four letter words.
Combo of [4] and [24] did it for me!
[29] do what you need to do with what you have then you'll understand [22]
I was hoping the answer would have something to do with baseball.
Echo [27].
Don't stand on the street corner hoping some john will give it to you. You're likely to be arrested by the answer.
Amazing puzzle, horrible solution.
But published, well done.
When I was a teenager, I used to hit the pipe alot, but then I realized that it wasn't helping me any...oh well, the errs of my ways have led me to where I am today
Sorry, not getting it. [31] is well-meaning but makes no sense, and the [34] [35] type clues are useless too. Oh well.
[34] thanks, that did it for me.
[36] the two four letter words should tell you to do something.
Ugh - what a disappointing answer
[38] I do, and I get the past tense of a dirty word. ;) OOPS... I screwed up a letter... ok, still have two four letter words... hmmmm... still makes absolutely no sense.
Oh, duh. :) I even read [9] twice and it didn't sink in. I would never had gotten that without the laborious help. Thanks gang.
[39] I take it you're finding no virtue in it?
I have one four letter word for this puzzle...
Do the Marlins play in Miami?
got it on a guess based on the salt here, never would have otherwise.
Why isn't Peter North in this puzzle??
got the 2 four letter words and then got 2 five letter words - can't figure out what all the other sodium means
[43] Doesn't matter.
[46] Use the second 5-letter word, come up with one of those, and change the third letter. [34] and [41] have other ways to get to the answer, although obtuse.
I loved the first two steps, but the final answer, I say Boooooo.
Outstanding solve concept.
I haven't even tried to solve yet.
But what a game that Reds/Dodgers game must have been. The Dodger pitcher had a no-hitter until he gave up 4 runs on 4 hits in the 9th to lose not only the no-hitter, but also the win. That's gotta hurt.
