spelling gets ya every time
Good puzzle. I had a little trouble with spelling, but got back on track.
I unfortunately misinterpreted the zippety clue to the wrong article and since I'm not familiar with the subject and google was perfectly happy with my misinterpretation, it took a few extra seconds to solve a well-clued puzzle. Thanks bargellos!

For [14] and others for whom the answer is news, definitely check out the link provided in the solution, or find the TV show mentioned in the solution. I am old and I knew about it. Also, the latter half of the answer was all over the regular news a few months ago, and has been on many awards shows and other TV shows.
