Great phonetics!
(double post)
Should have included a tire on that, changes the item.
Ohhh! If only I could spell.
You solved this puzzle in 37 seconds and were the 9th Tanga member to solve it.
Nice!
Cool puzzle. Thanks for the bit of salt [4].
Fun!
#11 WOWOWOW I have never gotten here early enough to get more than 10 points for completion.
I liked it!
How come on the main Cryptopix page it says 57 solves but I am 142? I went away after solving and then came back and it says 57. weird. Oh well, got under 100 for the first time on the other two puzzles:)
Should of had the tire on it like [4] said
[4], [12] I've gotta disagree : ). For me the pic more clearly depicts the desired word as it is than it would if it included a tire.
Of course if Philana disagrees I'll change my mind. I readily defer to her as the language expert!
[13] for car buffs, that picture shows something very different. I got caught up on that too. I would've rather seen one from a 1800's wagon...
Thanks [4]. I agree.
Edited because my original post included the puzzle term.
[4], [12], [14], [15] I still think the author is correct : ). See the links below: the first is a discussion thread on the topic from car-forums.com. The other two are from retail dealers who directly address the issue.

I thought it was a film reel
[13] Nono, the pic depicts a PIECE of the assembly that they intend. They intended the name of the entire assembly that includes a few parts, of which, they only posted a single piece.
[18] and a few others - nit, nit, nit PICKY! I got the first clue immediately, no problem. Nice puzzle, and good clues.
I agree the picture first inspire one word, a tire would have inspired the correct word first
I had no problem with the first clue. The third however... turns out it's not significant that it's the right side of the body that's labeled.
Originally started with the wrong word for the first clue, but luckily I got it from the rest of the clues. Some rubber on the first picture would have helped me to the word faster.
(21) I agree that threw me for a time as the phrase i have always heard included that distinction

I'd probably do better if these didn't come out during the kids' bedtime.
I have all the clues but I MUST be spelling something wrong! do I need to capitalize? missing punctuation? UGH!
Figured it out. Jeez. I just was putting TOO much into it.
Thank you [25] !

Excellent choice of pictures.
3:18! Beats my best by 2 minutes. I'm a novice, cut me some slack.
What's funny is that you could use just the top row for a phrase meaning the same thing because of the side that the arrows in the third picture are pointing.
<edited> too much salt maybe </edited>
[30] and others: I try to be very very careful in selecting photos -- especially trying to avoid distracting noise. I've learned from your comments about the third photo. If I had wanted you to look at the one side of that image, I would have used a big thick arrow that I would have hand-drawn onto the photo. But you don't know that.
I've been entertained by the discussions about the first photo. I especially appreciate [16]'s input. I had tried Googling on the topic, but to no avail.

[33] ROFL
When would you be able to find out the answer to this, I have no clue how this works... this is my first time giving this a shot and the example is kind of throwing me off...
This one was WAY easy.

You solved this puzzle in 20 seconds
[4] I understood the first clue, but it would have been easier if a picture of a wagon was used with an arrow.
[4] I totally agree... as is, it's a picture of a rim.
