Very nice. Knew I should have skipped over to here before finishing the hypercross! 108th - oh, well. :)
plum! good thing that music degree can finally be applied in the real world.
:( Don't know a thing about music.
So I know how to read music, but am stumped as to what it means in this puzzle. I'm sure I will feel dumb after I figure it out, but not getting it. The salt given doesn't help because I already know how to read music.
Edit: I got it! I do feel pretty dumb. I guess I don't know how to read music as well as I thought, which caused me to way overcomplicate this.
Great puzzle though, just had a brain fart.
I liked it nrucker....all those years of music lessons finally paid off!
Awesome!!!!!!!! Loved this one!
For those who need salt: Don't overthink this one. Do what seems natural. After all, music is the language of the soul.

Good one! Thankfully I play multiple instruments and as soon as I looked at it, it was like reading a word! :)
Would've gotten it much sooner if I hadn't tried to add a "greater than" into the mix, lol...and if I didn't have to look up the notes....
Good thing it was a treble clef - a bass clef would have taken me longer. Oh well, you know what they say - every good boy does fine.
Nice one [1]!

Had to get a friend who knows music to help. However, now I see simple identification would have worked. Who knew....
