Very nice!
Liked it!
Awesome!
Loved it! Good one!
Nicely done.
Got my sailboat! :)
great puzzle must
Very sharp! Loved it!
You solved this puzzle in 6 minutes and 56 seconds and were the 47th Tanga member to solve it
Fun one! I'll admit to using a crossword solver for help.
Nice! Tougher with 3, but solveable!
Hmmm....where to start with this one?
Argh the one time I actually got here in time to be in the top 100, and I can't figure it out!!
awesome!
Took a lot of work on a crossword solver, but ended up quite do-able.
to me, if you need a crossword solver that's not do-able, but maybe that means I'm not a serious enough solver
Cle ver bal!
Fun, but challenging!
I have all the missing letters for the first and last group, but five different crossword solvers tell me there's no word that can be made with that pattern. Are there multiple possible answers for 1-3 and 7-9?
NM ... figured it out!
[18] You're not making a 9 letter word, you're doing the same thing that you did for the first part of the puzzle.
Shoot! Had my first and second words reversed. Came in at 101.
Didn't need the crossword solver, but it took almost 8 minutes.
I'm having the same problem as [18] , are you really doing the same thing as with the other 6 clues?
took me a long time for the second step. Needed to look in a whole new direction [18] [22]
Thanks [16] Very helpful. Now if I could figure out the first one at the top, I'd be well on my way. Salt?
I had a different answer on the 3rd line, but the "correct" answer fit better (more common/sense words)
[24] I didn't actually solve the 1st one. I just used a crossword solver. But tying a string on your finger might help you out if you are looking to solve it "right".
[24] if nothing comes to mind, the crossword solvers make a good last resort. I think that's what a lot of people here are using. It is possible to see them on your own, but it's tricky and I can't think of a way to force it or get it through sheer effort if the answers just won't come.
Even though it seems a bit on the "you have to be a genius or look on the internet" side, I'm quite impressed with the creation of this puzzle. VERY clever.
[28] I'm definitely not a genius, but I refused to resort to the internet on this one ... and, as (almost) always, persistence pays. (Gotta fight off that Alzheimer's every chance I get!)
Very nice puzzle!!
Thanks [26], [27] Got it right away!
the 138th Tanga member to solve it. [19] thanks for the ending salt. I think alzheimers set in for a minute.
Tough puzzle over 1 hour later! 140th solver
I just totally don't get this one at all. :(
oooh that was clever! I wish I hadn't started to do something else and forgotten about the puzzle because I might have been one of the first 100. Oh well. It was still a really cool puzzle.
172nd in 2:36:17
And, yep, that is TWO hours :(
Next time I need to log off before going to bed LOL
Loved this puzzle ~ very clever!
Thanks for the challenge, must67!! I enjoyed it!
Step 1 is straightforward, 2nd step is consistent, then 3rd step is figuring out which word serves as the answer. Very clever and challenging!
There was a second set of letters that made the puzzle work and I was really disappointed it wasn't the answer. I had a real laugh.
Lots of fun to do and a very nicely constructed puzzle.
More to this one than meets the eye; very subtle word choices add a lot to the enjoyment. Well done!
