Nice one!!
You solved this puzzle in 6 minutes and 53 seconds and were the 29th Tanga member to solve it.
I got the answer without actually figuring out the last step, but it makes sense now that I've read the solution. Nice one! At first I was lead down the wrong track due to the last word being very close to another word that is a synonym.
This was fun!
Nice a-ha moment. Happy new year!
Great puzzle!
Clever, I liked it.
kool .. straight foward puzzle
Nice 'aha', fun puzzle sonjahi. I wish I had stayed with this one instead of switching to the HC before solving this!
Nice puzzle, Sonjahi!!
Happy New Year!!!
I usually suck at these, but I actually got it tonight. Challenging but not too obscure. Good set of puzzles, thank you!
Aggghh! So close, and just couldn't see it...
Very nice set.
Another one for your D'oh! nut collection! Good one tonight. Thanks!
I have the other puzzles done, but stuck here. Any salt?
This is the only one I seem to be stuck on too, got the others easily enough.
This has such a nice 'aha'. Please don't go too heavy on the salt & give it away.
A sprinkling: read the first sentence very carefully.
My a-ha moment took me through the first part but I admit that a leap of faith got me to the end of the puzzle. ("OK, I solved this one but I'm not sure how I did it.") Thank goodness for the printed solution!
If I'm ding it right, does step 1 have a non-pattern-following element to it?
If you get a word that's not a word, there's a second step. You'll figure it out in the end.
Fubhyq V unir frira yrggref ng gur raq bs fgrc 1?
EDIT: Rot13'ed question to hide it a bit.
Got the first step, but I don't know what to do now :(
Edit: Post and Solve
Very elegantly done.
[19] Yep.
Finally, the aha moment. I was starting to give up hope. Still finished 93rd. Under 100 on all three puzzles.
Can someone share if this is a common English word or a proper name?
[24] common word.
Wow ... I showed up 45 minutes late and still made the top 100.
(Everyone must be partying new year's eve style)
This was a very cute puzzle!
Still groping about blindly for step 2...
Is anagramming needed?
Never mind... P&S. And now I feel stupid for not seeing it earlier. 103rd here. But 19th on the Crypto and 63rd on the Hyper. for an average of 61.7th. :-)
Overall, a great set of puzzles sonjahi, even if (or maybe especially because) they make me feel dumb.
Fun one, Sonjahi!
104th.. so close, yet so far :) still, that close after over an hour... everyone must be partying it up tonight! happy new year all!
Awesome OWW. Thank you, sonjahi. Happy New Year to all!
Well duh, that was easy enough, don't know why it took me so long. Or actually the first step was easy. But looking at the letters from the first step along with the picture was enough for me to make a good wild guess for the answer.
[2] & [30] how do you do that without having a good reason for coming up with a specific word???
Really nice puzzle, sonjahi! Happy New Year!
I loved that game!
I get the first step, but no clue what to do the get the final answer.
Love the DOH moment - thanks for the great triple treat!
not a clue! got the first letters then hit a brick wall!
I'm usually terrible at these! Thanks for making one that made sense to me!
aw, I loved that game
[34][36] You basically do the opposite of what you did in the first step.
That was very clever!
[36 thanks Sonjahi for hitting me in the side of the head..now i see it DUH ..greatpuzzle
