[8] Yes, there can multi-way ties, and with no limit, as I understand it. So, in theory, a hundred of you could tie for 1st, and then the next person would be 101.

[9] Hmm, wonder why the Leaderboards aren't consistent with that convention. For your example, the 101st person would be 2!

[15] Interesting. As an Admin, I have a "show solvers" link, and those are *always* in non-tied order. So for the top ten on this one, that link shows:

Regardless of what it might have said to any of those users when they clicked SOLVE. I always assumed that it was *this* data used for the Leaderboards. But perhaps not.

[17] Hmm, they told cdp4444 he finished 6th and got the corresponding bonus points (105). But from your list (no ties) he finished higher than 10th. Although I think the convention that skips positions after ties is 'more correct', seems like the Leaderboards should match what they tell you : ).
As far as how ties are listed IN the Leaderboards, here's an actual example from Top 20 Solvers starting at position #52:

From Tangas perspective perhaps it makes sense to use a convention that maximizes members rankings on the leaderboards.
