Only puzzle that has me stumped today. Any salt? I even looked up songs from the band in the backdrop, but nothing stood out.

[4] you're right. It wasn't the band I thought, but that had been a wild guess anyway. Finally got it by googling the decade that the band was from (given the hair) and what I saw in the puzzle.
I followed the hints to "the third" not the term that was being sought. If you are doing the same, notice there aren't any more after it...
