OK, apart from the wisecracks, I am like [22], I got the reference but have not figured out how to use the words yet.

OH MY GOD. I got it. Finally. I kept trying to take a lot of letters and sticking them together and trying to sound out something instead of just seeing the ONE thing that's right before my eyes.
[27] that is exactly what I was doing too until [25] made it it bit clearer.

i am completely lost on this one. i have looked before all the (eyes) i can and can't seem to make out anything
that resembles a one word answer.

One clue to any OWW is to watch for weird words, they're generally clues.
