Got 29th here and 14 on the OWW. Glad the server was down or I would get my normal 243rd. :) We should do this once a month so I can do well.

Where is everyone? My first under 100! (I typically play in the morning). I had no idea you could get so many points.

The best thing about the site going down. My best finish ever. Guess it's still too early for the west coast folks to be up! LOL!

I never knew you were giving points for the top 100 on a Saturday morning. I wish everyone was notified.

    Great puzzle.

[12] These aren't Saturday morning puzzles. These were the featured puzzles from Friday night. Thursday night's puzzles are up too with bonus points for the top 100 solves. The puzzles were already scheduled even if Tanga wasn't up when they were supposed to air.

  14. FileEggj15bell on Apr 23, 2011 02:23 PM

    [12] it's one of friday's puzzles brownie

[13][14] I never imagined Tanga would have done the scoring this way today. I never received an e-mail they were up and running. When I saw all the puzzles I figured 3 points a piece and 5 on the Hypercrosses. : )

Oh well, at least Tanga is back up and running.

  16. 100_1703Eggsonjahi on Apr 23, 2011 04:31 PM

[15] It's not a matter of Tanga "doing" the scoring. It's all automated. Arnott schedules puzzles for feature and they are setup to award points in that manner. If Arnott had been in town, he might have removed Thursday and Friday nights' puzzles and ran them later, but he wasn't... so here we are.

Once I figured out that the barn picture wasn't a hay mow, I finally figured it out! Thanks, sonjahi!

Hey, its only fair for those of us with a slow connection to get a break once in a while.

the 298th Tanga member to solve it. It's not what it seems.....made me think.....Tanga being gone didn't help my solving ability.....rats...

My Cherokee ancestors could "pass for white", or hid in the forests. They stayed in Alabama.
