Fun! Thanks, Ryan.
I figured it out...I knew I had it but it wouldn't take...then I saw the last one...oh well...24th in 6.5 minutes
Oo-hoo! I'm so proud of myself on this one.
I saw what I was looking for right away but couldn't figure out what to do with them. Was getting a little annoyed that 21 other people already had it when I thought I had latched on so quickly. Then a careful read and it hit me!
Very, very nicely done Ryan! :)
I missed one, but was able to get it without once I figured out what to do. I really liked this puzzle, it was very clever. Thanks for making it!
No idea. Will sleep on this one and see it fresh in the morning
Unless someone will TG me salt.
Tough one, I don't see any useful numbers or patterns anywhere.
#30! Great puzzle! Tried different tactics before finding the right one.
Nice puzzle!
Nice! And I only needed the first 4 clues to get it.
[3] Thanks for helping me go back for a "careful read." Needed that little push. Fun puzzle.
I have a list of 8 items, but can't see what to do with them.
EDIT: Figured it out. Had to follow the directions, as usual :)
I'll have to come back too...no can seem to do right now...never mind...p and s....
[3] me too. I have the pieces, but am lost on the next step
Nice Puzzle :)
Hmm... I'm assuming this puzzle uses a certain well-known solve method, but [4]'s comment is confusing me because I know he doesn't like those methods. Must be something else.
There is no "next step." Go back and read the email again. The instructions are right there in plain sight.
Awesome puzzle! extra tough with so many variations on the answer too... I was thrown for a bit because I missed some but was sure I had it right.
I'm with [11] found 8 clues, but don't know what is next.
[11] I think I'm in the same boat
Really nice!
I think I have the first step, but now I'm stuck. Help? TGs welcomed ;)
Woohooo! Got my plum thanks to finishing 22nd here! Gotta thank my wife though.
I wonder if other successful guys had a woman behind them as well!
A month ago, I would have never gotten this, even with help from [3]
Lost, nothing found yet....
[22] We women usually come along after the men to clean up the mess they've made. ;-)
8th on the Crypto, but not a clue here...
There's salt in comments #16 and #25.
Loved it!
the salt is only confusing me more.
Great puzzle! Had me sitting here for a good 15 minutes scratching my head, but I still got 85th.
[18] [19] Look at where your clues are in the email and then look at what's next.
You solved this puzzle in 20 minutes and 6 seconds and were the 90th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 21 points for solving this.
Had the clues after 5 minutes, but when i read [25] it reminded me of the first sentence in the email.
Snuck in at 96. At first I was looking for the exact opposite (in a sense) of what I should have been looking for (which gave me a really suspect list of words). Never would have got it without [25]; also, [16] was very misleading to me.
100th solver at 22 minutes past the hour... 8 minutes sooner than I expected.
Well, it's not "farjrbc".
[EDIT] Post and solve works every time! Good puzzle--way to make us read it carefully!
More salt?
[30] Well I could have put one word in my comment [25] in all caps, but I thought that would be too blatant. Go back and re-read the beginning of the email and see what's similar to the salt.....
Finally got it. That was original, never seen that solve method before. Straightforward after I figure it out with all the salt.
[34] looks like you have started out with the right idea, try to understand the instructions again.
You solved this puzzle in 25 minutes and 57 seconds and were the 113rd Tanga member to solve it. Didn't see the instructions at first..sheeeeesh....
I really enjoyed this one. Good job, ryanker.
second request for a TG, please oh please!
[34] You mean that it's not "farjwrbc"
You solved this puzzle in 27 minutes and 5 seconds and were the 121st Tanga member to solve it.
Wow. Those instructions WERE hidden in plain sight! Good puzzle. I just need to be more aware I guess. Once i found the instructions, it was a piece of cake!
I got several great TGs, thank you! And finally figured it out.
This OWW didn't help me get points so I can get my radish. Good puzzle!
Very fun puzzle. I can feel myself getting better at these. Thanks!
Thank you for the kind words. As I mentioned in a TG or two, "frustrating but clever" was exactly what I was aiming for.
[37] Original? Well let's say I was "inspired" by one Lexi Smith. ;-)
(How's that for obscure salt?)
Can someone please TG me on this one I am pretty sure I know what to do but I just can't find anything that fits or makes sense
[48] Sent you one.
[47] Hah! I was thinking about that when I read comment [37]... and having that in the back of my brain somewhere helped me notice your instructions. I should probably be embarrassed that it took me as long as it did.
Here's what ryanker is referring to, for anyone that's interested:

[32] I thought [16] was potentially misleading as well. I know what she's getting at - it can be done in one step. But I think many of us are going to list the items we find in the puzzle and then try to figure out what to do with them.
[48] I will - and wideki too if you still need it. edit: brownie1 already got you, so I'll just tag wideki.
[30] Thank you. Would have never solved it, because I kept reading the "instructions" as a question.
Thanks Soccer_Ref! After reading [36] , it came together.
[47] and [50] - thanks, that did it for me. After being "taught" the "how to" I think I actually have a starting point! (no salt there, just a statement).
Very nice! Cleverly obfuscated.
I'm so close.. I just need a littttle salt please :)
Was making it way too hard plus I had missed one until somebody said eight clues. No Tangaing required.
You solved this puzzle in 28 minutes and 21 seconds and were the 269th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 10 points
nice puzzle!
HEY! I'm a freaking genius!!
You solved this puzzle in 20 minutes and 55 seconds and were the 282nd Tanga member to solve it. You earned 10 points
This is my first time here and was completely lost but thanks to a couple of the comments (especially [50])was able to figure it out.
[55] Not knowing what part you are close on, it's hard to know what little bit of salt you need. You can send me what you've got if you'd like and I'll lightly salt you from there.
huh? I am not getting this one. Can I get a little help please?
[61] What [60] said.
This was my first puzzle ever. I had to read the FAQ's to find out what "salt" was LOL (see...total newbie!). Then, after reading (and checking out!) [47] I sort of had an idea of what to look for. Had to check out the hint on this puzzle first tho... But finally got it. Really fun for my first puzzle... Thanks!
You solved this puzzle in 48 minutes and 16 seconds and were the 329th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 3 points for solving this. LOVE THIS WEBSITE!!!!!! The harder they are, the sweeter the victory! (30) supplied what I needed. Thanks.
[63] Welcome to the club!
finally got it.. feh XD
