anatomically NOT the correct answer, which slowed me down considerably, but good play on words nonetheless..

I don't get it. I should. I see the obvious to me, but it won't take the answer. Maybe it isn't so obvious? Salt, please. Thanks!

  20. FileAppleReverendVader on Feb 27, 2011 09:18 PM

The answer is definitely not literal... but "punny."

  21. Avatar_profilePotatomarius20 on Feb 28, 2011 12:20 AM

    [22] too salty

  22. FileEggj15bell on Feb 28, 2011 12:34 AM

[23] did you flag the comment?

  23. FileBananaBobcat on Feb 28, 2011 01:18 AM

You know... I'm not used to being able to solve the OWWs from the thumbnail...

  24. Phi3CornPhilana on Feb 28, 2011 05:32 AM

What's sad is that the poster of [22] obviously didn't even bother to read the information on the site he or she linked to.

The puzzle does work as a pun. It's the explanation that's erroneous. It's impossible to explain here why the statement in the explanation is anatomically incorrect without giving the answer away. But even cursory research will reveal the error. It's similar to saying that the Achilles tendon is the heel.

  25. Bp3Eggendel3 on Feb 28, 2011 05:39 AM

[26] Not even that close, really, since the achilles tendon actually inserts on the heel, more like the tibea is the heel...

  26. Sun-moon-purPlumskutche on Feb 28, 2011 08:26 AM

And with that i've got my grapes! Thanks houck!

I have taken anatomy and physiology and I think the puzzle is cute and clever....it's not like this is obscure, right?
