Tricky one to find the thread, but obvious once you hit it.
Went down a few roads but finally it clicked.
Guessed this one by googling the words in the back to get the "theme" and then trying a few words related until one worked. Interestingly, I tried to go down the right road by googling the first year but it didn't hit the needed reference.
But if you too are coming along in Surprise Me, don't try converting those numbers to letters or anything... that's the wrong path. Try to find something significant about the years. Once you do that, you'll get words that get you to the answer.
