Took me way too long to get this, it was pretty obvious.

Boy, did I mangle that on the first try! Figured out the last word and then tried to make the beginning something that totally didn't fit. And I knew it didn't. Then I finally got it.

If you think you have it but you're stuck, perhaps you did what I did and made the second word (word, not clue) plural when it should not be plural.
