[9] It is often - but not always - the case that the Cryptopix and the One Word Wonder will be "easier" on the nights where we also publish a new Hypercross. Or more to the point, on the alternate nights where there is no new Hyper, the Crypto and OWW will often be more "difficult."

Well, I first tried the clue plus color, then the clue, and then finally "solved" it with JUST the color.
Totally missed the last one. Google even kept trying to correct me as I saved each letter in the Google search box! I was like, "No! That's not the right letter!"
Easy peasy.........
Am pretty sure I have the right answer, but it would not accept the answer. Tanga seems to be telling me "I'll give you the points when you pry it from my cold, dead hands!"
