I got it right, for the totally wrong reason. Just tried a few different solve methods (considerably more involved than the right one) and one of them came close enough to make me think of the right word.

Huh? I had very little problem with yesterday's OWW that stumped so many. Yet this one that everyone finds easy, I keep running into deadends.
Do I need to know anything about this stupid game to solve this? I have just finished witnessing the finest game in the world (Rugby World Cup) and can't be arsed learning anything about a game filled with sissies in armour!
